This little hidden gem is pretty much delightfull. The staff is smiling and welcoming , the food is fresh and tasty , and the interior design feels clean yet has some interesting vibe while being in a newer building . Nothing fancy or really amazing , just a solid spot .

Left without eating. Was greeted when walking in. Was asked to wait 5 minutes which was no problem but gave me too much time to notice too many things. There was glass case with different types of fish two of which that were touching. (Not a big deal) They looked as if they had been thrown in there like we were in the Pikes Place Market. I noticed one of the gentleman behind the counter preparing the sushi cupped his hand to shove something in his mouth to eat with a gloved hand. The glove obviously made contact with his mouth and lips. We made eye contact to top it off. The wait was closer to 10 minutes which again, no problem I had assumed it was busier since you can’t see the entire dinning area from the entrance. Was then led by the waitress to the dining area passing three empty tables. As soon as I was seated I heard a microwave go off. So there was a guest appearance by chef Mike (microwave). Instead of looking at menu I quickly looked for a different place to eat. I couldn’t stomach the thoughts so decided to leave.

Tonight was the first time I have tried this spot. I am from out of town so finding a good place is a challenge when you have to rely on the online reviews, I saw some negative reviews of this place but I wonder if they are confusing this sushi restaurant with the one two blocks away on the same street. The food was delicious and the sushi was awesome. I am a snob when it comes to Sushi so when I’m saying it was really good I’m not just saying it to be nice. The service was good, we got a new waitress who was working her third day on the job, I tend to go easy on new people. Instead of criticism I want to share what she did well for it being only her third day. She was very friendly and instead of pretending to know things she would take the time to go ask so she wouldn’t be giving incorrect information. If there is one pointer I would give her it would be to come by the table more often and try to interact with and chat with the customers, maybe see if there is anything they might need from time to time or just have a friendly conversation. Schmoozing is a big part of the job lol.

Best teriyaki I had in a long time! The sauce was not too sweet, chicken was flavorful. Their salad and udon was excellent as well. Super affordable sushi as well! Highly recommend!

I went there for lunch on my lunch break from work. The gentleman who is at the register was a little bit rude. He had like a blank attitude. He wasn’t friendly at all. I watched him make my sushi. I wasn’t sure if I seen correctly, but it looked like he was grabbing the towel, wiping the knife off with his gloves on while he was touching the food. because I wasn’t sure I didn’t say anything. Also, the food was not very good. It was kind of thrown together. The sushi was falling apart. I ordered deep fried rolls. The rice was falling out. They weren’t done well. He was making them without seeming like he was interested in making them and I like my food made with love. I don’t like people to make my food when they don’t wanna make it. I don’t know if he was having a bad day, but I know that I will never go back there, and even if the sushi was good, his attitude was not!

If you can pay more and appreciate incredible cuts of fish you must visit this place. The yellowtail sashimi was buttery, and the tuna was rich and dark in color. Will be returning many times more, the staff and food are excellent. (Update): Second visit during lunch and had the Sashimi Platter. Was very quiet, the fish was delicious and buttery just as before and was served a few bonus pieces of sashimi.

So glad we decided to try this place out. The salmon was super fresh and tender, and the unagi roll and shrimp tempura roll were delicious. Staff is super sweet and friendly. 10/10 sushi take-out choice.

A little hidden away from the more busy bits of Phinney Ridge, a must stop place for delicious sushi! Low key and cozy, the staff are attentive and helpful.

A lovely hidden gem in Phinney! Sophisticated ambiance in the dining area, super quick service and attentive server, and the food was delicious. The plating was Michelin level fancy but the price was very affordable. I’m sad I moved away or else I’d come all the time!
