What a great place. My daughter used to love the one in the Carmel area when she lived there. But they recently moved to the west side and she wanted to go for Mother’s day. So we brought three generations of Moms to this restaurant and had a great time. We got the buffet including we were able to have an omelette made to order. It was delicious and the person made it very quickly while I watched. We had good service with a friendly waitress that was always there when we needed her. They had both breakfast and lunch items which made it a perfect for everyone to get what they wanted.

The food was great. Fresh, hot, tasty, and came out quick. The portions are pretty big. The chorizo skillet was really good and had great flavor. The potatoes were seasoned right and cooked perfect. The biscuits are big and dense, but we’re fresh and good also. Definitely like coming when I have free time for breakfast.

Nyle the crocodile was our waiter and he was very nice and friendly. We had the biscuits with chicken and it was amazing!! My friends had the meat lovers omelette and the turkey avocado panini and they were super happy, they said it was delicious. I had the nutty bear coffee and it was great! Atmosphere was great, very cozy and nice. 100% recommend this place!

If you’ve never had a spiritual awakening via breakfast, get yourself to Big Bear Biscuits immediately. I came hungry and left questioning every mediocre brunch decision I’ve ever made.
Let’s talk food: The biscuits? Fluffy clouds of joy. The gravy? Liquid gold with a Southern accent. I’d fight a bear for their hashbrowns, and I think I did growl a little when someone reached for one.
Now enter Nyle—our server, our guide, our breakfast guru. Nyle didn’t just serve us food; he served personality. Coffee? Always full. Jokes? Fresh and buttery like the biscuits. I swear he’s the reason my eggs were cooked perfectly—pure telepathic breakfast synergy.
Anyway, 10/10 would sell my car for another round of those biscuits and a morning with Nyle.

Love the cozy vibes here. My kids love that the waitress remembers them! We’ve been coming weekly for close to 2 years now! The food has changed but lately has been really yummy and the coffee is my absolute favorite! I often grab it to go and take it to one of the parks nearby! Truly a westside hidden gem! MUST try!

Everything tasted amazing and the portions were huge. I am generally very picky about sausage gravy and often find myself disappointed at most places sausage gravy with biscuits, but Big Bear was fantastic. We will be back for more (after we let this giant meal digest a bit). Staff was friendly and inviting. This is great new addition to Brownsburg’s dining options. Unexpectedly, they have great breakfast beverages as well: multiple uniquely flavored lattes, and brunch cocktails that are more than a typical mimosa.

Wow wow wow!!! Everything about this spot is above and beyond. The staff are so sweet, everything is super clean, and the food was WAY beyond what I expected.
The chorizo skillet is sooo good! Most times, dishes with chorizo are pretty greasy and become soggy quick; not this one! The flavors blend perfectly so the chorizo doesn’t overpower the rest, everything was very fresh, and the avocados on top were just ripe enough.
Don’t sleep on this spot!

To the owner … you entire staff, especially Christina, on Sunday July 21 was exceptional! Super friendly!
I had a cappuccino that was very good. My breakfast was Full Breakfast with sausage, grits and white toast. Everything was very good. I also had a biscuit with sausage gravy. I am a Snob when it comes to sausage gravy and biscuits. This was off the charts. They are up there with the best I’ve had in the nation!
Visit this place, an absolute hidden gem!

No Irish coffee available, biscuits fell apart immediately not sure if old or just overcooked. Had to get up to ask for coffee refills, mocha coffee lacked sugar, and not worth $5 .
The chicken sandwich was good but would have been better if the biscuits weren’t so hard.

Miss the fishers location! Made our way down after a visit to Eagle Creek. Same great food and service!
Do miss the hand cut potato slices though, they seem to have switched to a frozen diced alternative.
