We were here for dinner and we sat outside. We were welcomed by the hotel staff to the lounge area first because the restaurant wasn’t ready yet, where we enjoyed beautiful live jazz music and a margarita. Afterwards, we entered the garden where there was a lovely breeze and atmosphere. The staff is very attentive and the experience throughout the dinner was good. We went for the set menu 75€ for 3 courses. As starters we took a cucumber salad and a meat pie, both very good. As mains we went for the pigeon and the chicken. My favourite dish was the chicken because it is paired with an interesting corn sauce and some popcorn as decoration.
The desserts were also delicious but overall I would say the cuisine is quite traditional.

When you’re halfway through your French vacation and you need a quiet, relaxing meal in a beautiful restaurant, Le Jardin d’Hiver at the Auberge delivers exceptional cuisine and attentive service. Elsa and Adrian took great care of us. The beef bourguignon salad was delicious. The sauce elevated the overall flavor and the crispy and light crust added that bit of crunchiness to the texture that satisfies me very nicely. The scallops were prepared in way that gave them color while not overcooking them. The potatoes prepared three ways as the side item to the tender chicken, showed me the care and attention to detail from the chef that I appreciate and respect. After such a delightful evening, we’re refreshed and ready to experience the second half of our vacation.

I was visiting the nearby Chantilly Palace on Xmas day and the only restaurant that was opened was this one that is within a hotel. I didn’t really dine at the restaurant by at the bar which has the same name. The bar menu is more of drinks with some bar snacks. We had some sandwiches and cheese burger which is enough as a lunch. They are cooked pretty well, especially the cheese burger. The bar area is also nicely done up. Love the red/black deco even in the day time. I believe it will be even better at night with the warm lights.

Poor value and spotty service (Margot and our main server were nice). Otherwise, pricing is 3x above what it should be with inedible food. Best part was the bread with butter. We ordered a 48 EUR pigeon highlighted as a Chef’s Special which was presented as a whole roasted baby duckling (head and all) in a basket with cut meat pieces that were raw, delivered by the chef(?) without a word, look or smile. We ordered a Caesar Salad for our child. Not sure if the chef was mad about having to make it (despite it being on the menu, for 27 EUR no less) and trying to make a joke or insult, but it looked like something you might imagine getting at a McDonald’s (photo attached). If you’re visiting the Chateau de Chantilly, just eat there. You’ll spend under 30 EUR for a 3 course meal that’s delicious, without the attitude. Or you could come here and easily spend 150-300 EUR and leave hungry, confused and insulted. And if you’re looking for haute cuisine, this is France, there are plenty of places with great food and service, without the stuffy attitude that isn’t even warranted by the venue.

Nous sommes venus souper au jardin d’hiver hier soir, le service était très bon mais j’ai quand même quelques commentaires.
Premièrement mon conjoint avait demandé son veau rare ( même si cela n’est pas la cuisson idéale pour ce type de viande), la viande est arrivée très cuite, je ne sais pas si le chef a décider d’ignoré la requête de celui ci. Pour ma part j’avais commandé les gambas, elles étaient très bonnes mais très petites, il n’y en avait que 6 petites sur mon plat, ce que je trouve peu pour le prix.

Petite mise en bouche très agréable, les plats étaient également très bons. Pour le prix et le lieu nous nous serions attendus à plus de finesse ou plus de saveurs, les desserts manquaient de goût. Nous avons cependant passé un très bon moment dans ce lieu magnifique.

En nous rendant à Chantilly, nous avions initialement prévu de déjeuner au restaurant Le Connétable, mais celui-ci étant fermé en août, je me suis finalement arrêté au Jardin d’Hiver, situé non loin du château.
Ce fut une excellente surprise !
Le lieu est élégant, avec un mélange harmonieux de style contemporain et de touches classiques. L’atmosphère est chaleureuse, raffinée, et parfaitement adaptée à un moment agréable.
La cuisine est tout simplement délicieuse : des plats savoureux, parfaitement préparés et joliment présentés. On vraiment très bien mangé.
Le service est irréprochable, l’accueil attentionné et souriant, ce qui complète parfaitement l’expérience.
Une très belle découverte que nous recommandons vivement à tous ceux qui passent à Chantilly.

Nous avons passé un excellent déjeuner en famille pour l’anniversaire de mon papa. L’accueil a été chaleureux et attentionné, et l’équipe a même pensé à la bougie sur le dessert comme je l’avais demandé. Les plats étaient délicieux.
