I’ve been craving Spanish food and saw this place and figure I’d give it a try for the first time. The lady working was amazing however I’d like to give my honest review and to say this place is extremely overpriced for the food quality. The quantity is decent but the flavor wasn’t there. I got the beef stew with yellow rice, Maduros & macaroni salad … everything was pretty dry and the macaroni salad wasn’t your typical salad. I spent over $30 for my food and anybody that has been to a Spanish food spot knows they never charge that for a plate

Sweet staff and very helpful
Recommendations were great.
Price was unbelievable….. $20 and my meal was perfect for 2 servings!
The stewed chicken was delicious and my favorite plantains
But let’s talk about the Tres Leche chocolate Oreo, deliciousness dessert oh my goodness I had to stop myself from eating the whole thing at once saved for my dinner the next day!!
Hidden Gem!!

Everything was fantastic, it all tasted like it was made with love by somebody’s grandmother. The empanada was crispy and savory, and the silpancho was tender and well seasoned. Top it off with a bright location and upbeat music and it’s a fantastic dining experience.
Pro tip: just dump those beans all over the rice, that’s where they put a lot of the flavor.

Tropical Llama has the best Dominican and Bolivian cuisine around! Every dish is seasoned to perfection and absolutely delicious. We placed a last-minute catering order, and Sandra took care of everything without hesitation—she’s amazing! Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the food. If you haven’t tried Tropical Llama yet, do yourself a favor—your taste buds will thank you!

My first Dominican burger based on the staff recommendation didn’t disappoint. I lucked on this location. I definitely appreciated the handmade patty and flavors of the garnishments. I’ll definitely be back.

Great spot for some very tasty and reasonably priced food!
I love the little dining area and the team is super friendly and will explain anything if you have any questions. The portions are very big so be sure to come with a big appetite!

Finally trying this place!
I didn’t ordered in advance and they had already cooked pretty good variety.
I went there on a weekday around 1pm and thankfully I didn’t have to wait much.
The girl attending was super friendly and very accommodating.
I got white rice, chicken in red sauce, brown beans and sweet fried plantains. Everything was On Point! The only reason I’m giving a 3 stars it’s because I felt the chicken needed more seasoning, but it was still very good.
Also I wish they would open around 11am maybe and close later than 8pm.
They are in a good location with plenty of parking.
I’ll definitely be going there again! Can’t wait to try their sweets like churros
Thank you so much for opening so far from the main Massachusetts Latin cities.

I do apologize but I wish this could be a discrete message to the owner. I visited your establishment today and was concerned. The cook (I believe your brother) had on the black gloves as he was preparing food came to the front to speak with a vendor, held a cell phone in his hand while the gloves were on. My food was in the process of being prepared. I believe this to be unsanitary and I was concerned about my food having cross contamination as food handling appeared to be unsanitary. I cannot confirm if he changed the gloves afterwards but I did find a small hair in my sandwich so I discarded the meal. I would only order again if the owner were present hoping to have proper food handling.

This visit was my first time there and i wish i could give a better review. I ordered a ham and cheese empanada which was great, the chicken empanada was a little bland and dry, the potato ball with meat inside for me wasn’t that great and the alcapurria(fried mashed green bananas with meat inside) was raw so that was a huge disappointment.
