Sadly, the quality of service and the ice cream has gone down over the past 6 months. On our last visit, the employees were very unfriendly and the ice cream had a sour taste in both of our orders. As we went through the drive-thru, and going down the road, it just wasn’t beneficial for us to turn around and go back.

Stopped in for a quick treat. Place is clean and well lit. Service was quick. I got a vanilla shake. It was good. Wife got a blizzard. The DQ Blizzard is always a crowd pleaser. We did notice that some of the cakes were past their sell-by date. Only by a day or two. Perhaps the staff didn’t have time to check. There were two people working there. Both were busy filling in-store and drive up orders. Despite the volume, we were in and out fast. We’ll be back though we’ll be a little leery of the cakes.
Update: 4/1/23 Went and got some shakes. Their shakes are super.

Absolutely wouldn’t sell me an ice cream cake through the drive thru. Mind you it’s pouring rain and no one is behind me the store is Absolutely dead on the inside and drive thru. So as I pull off everyone of the employees are ethier standing around or had there hands in their pockets. Kinda defeats the purpose of a drive thru if you need to walk in to purchase something as simple as a pre-made ice cream cake but can wait 5 mins for a single blizzard to be made. No wonder this restaurant is always empty.

They are always out of something. Today they only had chocolate ice cream. Plus the cashier couldn’t count. I gave her 20.66. My order I thought was 2.66. I pull up to the drive thru and see that it takes her a couple of extra minutes to count, she hands me back $17 and some change. I said I gave you 20.66. She said well it was 2.46. Well then you still owe me a $1. She gives me the $1. Then she tell the other girls working behind her, y’all drawer going be short today. She made sure I heard it. I just drove off shaking my head. $20.66. Subtract $2.66 = $18. $20.66 subtract $2.46= $18.20. Needs better management there and better training. I’ve been working in law enforcement for 16 years and my spouse has been working in banking for 20 years- We have no need to try to steal $1. Customers shouldn’t have to go through a cashier trying to make it out like they are stealing -by telling the other workers there drawer is going be short tonight. It is if you keep running the cash register.

My favorite is the Royal New York Cheesecake Blizzard. Each day depends on what you are getting in it though. Sometimes no cheesecake bites, just graham cracker and strawberry. Sometimes only strawberry filling and no strawberries. Sometimes only frozen strawberries at the bottom. So it just depends on who is making it that day. If you ask for extra this or that they are always pretty good about getting what you asked for right.
