We visited on a Saturday evening with another couple. We were seated on a very small room with a very low ceiling directly off the bar. The noise was indescribable. My Apple Watch noise alert for hearing kept going off and you could not have a conversation without yelling across the table. There were so many tables crammed into this small space that the service staff could not maneuver and function well. The food was good and the service was good. You know these people care and are attentive yet whomever designed this space needs to understand it was a BIG MISS. While aesthetically pleasing, it’s not very functional. The only service miss was the table help asked if we want boxes. We said yes. He took several other small plates and plopped them right on the plate with my entree. Mixed in with my food. He delivered our left overs and I promptly threw mine away when arrived home to avoid eating dirty plate chicken modiga.

I went to Bartolino’s Twin Oaks today for lunch—more like a late brunch—with my daughter. I had the Risotto with Italian sausage, onion, saffron, a touch of cream, and a fried egg on top. She had the Rigatoni Bolognese, made with beef, pork, tomato sauce, and a touch of cream. Both dishes were freshly prepared with the finest ingredients.

What a meal. The portions were generous—too good to finish in one sitting, so I made sure to save some for later. The place looks beautiful, polished but warm, just the way an Italian restaurant should be. The service? Right on the money.

I asked for two boxes, but instead of just dropping them off, our server took the dishes, boxed them perfectly, and bagged them for us. That’s service done with care, the kind that makes you feel like family.

The Saracino family knows how to run a fine Italian restaurant—great food, great staff, great atmosphere. Everything about this place shows pride, tradition, and attention to detail.

So go ahead—treat yourself. Just don’t tell your diet…
Because at Bartolino’s, you eat like family.

Great experience! Very cool vibe and beautiful decor inside. The space is about 1 year old. One of few restaurants these days that is adequately staffed and it showed. Very attentive service even on a busy Friday night. Food was excellent the calamari, salads, chicken modiga chicken risotto. All really good. Strong drinks as well! Draft beer selection ok but did have Voodoo Ranger as a craft selection.

The ambience is fresh, elegant, and inviting — from the moment we walked in, we felt this restaurant was special.

Our server Charles, who clearly has tremendous experience in fine dining, was 100/10 professional. He answered all of my unusual menu questions with ease and made us feel completely taken care of.

The food and drinks were absolutely top-notch. The risotto was unforgettable, and my angel hair pasta with fish was outstanding. My partner was impressed by the whiskey selection for his Old Fashioned, which was beautifully presented.

Even the branding caught our attention — the logo is clever and memorable.

Overall, an exceptional dining experience — we’ll definitely be back!

I ordered orange juice and the classic breakfast. The orange juice tastes like freshly squeezed, very delicious. The classic breakfast comes with two eggs, I ordered scrambled, hash browns, three strips of bacon, I asked for extra crispy, and two slices of toast. The eggs were cooked just right. Many parts on the bacon were burnt. I didn’t want it that crispy. The hash brown looked like a small brick. The hash brown was crispy but needs seasoning. I asked for the multigrain bread for my toast and it came out perfect. I got excellent service sitting at the bar. I like the look and vibe of this restaurant. There’s a large parking lot in front of the restaurant.

Positives – Chairs are very comfortable, atmosphere was nice, they took the bread off the sandwich and served me the inside so I could keep my carbs down, they also put the leftovers in boxes and put them in a plastic bag. Prices for lunch are around $20.
Overall a very nice visit.

Food was very tasty and the servers/busters were great about making sure waters were full and plates were cleared. There was a two hour time limit for the table so remember that when getting together with a group. All in all place was very good and will definitely be back

I really don’t understand all the hype about this restaurant, or the sister one in SoCo or on Hampton. Tried the new Twin Oaks location 2 days before Christmas. Gorgeous interior but they need to get baffles on the ceiling as the noise level was ridiculously high. Arrived at 5:15 and by 7:00 just about every table was filled, including the bar which is beautiful with plenty of seating. There are various sections of the restaurant and we were escorted to a back room with 3 other 4-tops and 2 big party tables that seat 8-10 people each. Once that filled up, the 4 of us could not hear each other & we aren’t old!

Regarding the food: the waitress really sold us on how “special” the Beef Spedini is which is not on their permanent menu — she extolled the deliciousness and FOMO if we didn’t order this since 2 of us were considering the chicken spedini. The chicken spedini was $28 so I ASSUMED the beef would be only slightly higher and shame on us for not asking. It was a whopping $51 and definitely not worth it. Mine was mealy, had grissly parts in it, and not much charbroil. It lacked that distinctive lemon/butter flavor too.The Caesar Salad dressing was bland. I began to wonder if everything is US FOOD SERVICE and nothing authentic about this once fine Italian eatery. Even the balsamic and olive oil brought with our bread was lackluster. The carrots that were brought as a side were on a ricotta sauce that tasted strange with the carrots and not complementary flavors at all. They did nothing for each other.

I wouldn’t consider this fine dining but our final bill sure indicated they think so. None of us said, WOW, this is sooo good. It’s not the kind of meal where you can’t wait to go back and order it again. That’s the mark of a great restaurant. They’ve missed the mark sadly.

Just one person’s opinion. By the looks of the place, people settle for mediocre food and high prices.

Really great upscale Italian St Louis style. Later location of a “The Hill” original. We had calamari which was definitely made in house, salmon, and veal piccata which were all great. Service needed minimal reminders but some. We asked for 3 traditional cannolis for dessert (think mini) but received a traditional (it’s not- the filling is wrong), pistachio (still frozen) and one that seemed to have chocolate chips. The shell was ok though. Skip that dessert and try something else. I do recommend overall and will go again.
