I’ve been coming here since I was a kid (31 now) and I don’t think I’ve ever enjoyed fried rice more. Their boneless spare ribs are amazing, and their wings are phenomenally crispy and tasty. I can’t count how many D2s I’ve had from Honga, and I’ll be having them for years to come.
Ordering is efficient and quick, pickup is easy, the restaurant has tables for dining in. It’s everything you could want from Chinese takeout.

Been doing business for over 25 years. I keep hoping it’s gonna get better. The quality and the inconsistency has failed immensely. So disappointed that I had to write this review. It’s better to go up on your prices then go down on the quality of your food. Haven’t been happy for quite a while.

Pretty good food served fresh. The specialty dishes and rice are the best. Chicken fingers and fried jumbo shrimp have too much dough so if you want fried shrimp, I’d go for the popcorn shrimp. Tasty and plentiful! Overall, the best food in the area. They’ve been consistently good for years. Love it.

Love Honga been ordering for a long time! Someone from group needed gluten free – when I asked if there were any gluten free options they said it’s all gluten free! How can that possibly be? Know your ingredients! Some people can’t tolerate any gluten!

Normally quick and quality is better than most of the other Chinese restaurants in Salem. May get expensive depending what you purchase, but that is expected for higher price for ingredients nowadays.

I love Honga! I lived in Salem for 2 years and this was my go-to spot for Chinese food. The Szechuan lo mein was my fave, perfect amount of spice. I moved out of state but I still return whenever I am in town.

Best fried rice around. I’ve tried every place in Salem, Danvers and Swampscott. Recently had their dumplings and they were very good. A go-to for good Chinese.

Haven’t been here in a long time, remembered it being better. It’s a ghost town here, that is the first tell of it not being that good. Lo mein was trash and so were the chicken teriaki sticks. I wouldn’t give this place another try cause the flavor wasn’t any good. Was expensive too, over 20 for both of those. Threw them both out.
