The Lakes Tavern Veteran Owned and Harnett County’s first High-End Dive Bar is unlike anything else in this area. We give the customers (our friends) a voice in how we operate. Recently described as an old school corner bar, we are here to entertain, listen, or just let you be. Whatever you want, we will do our best to accommodate. The Lakes Tavern exceeded my expectations! Tara, our server, truly made our dining experience exceptional with her attentiveness and care. I highly recommend the chili dogs and fries – both were delicious! The drinks were fantastic, and the cheesecake was the perfect indulgent end to the night. What impressed me most was their hospitality; even though the bar closed at 11, they went above and beyond to accommodate us past the closing time. I can’t wait to visit again!

I love the family atmosphere it’s fun and the people/patrons are so sweet and supportive. Darts are thrown there and it’s so fun to watch and become a part of. Very family oriented and good for kids they have a whole game section for kids to play with! The food is getting better every single day! It’s in year two of the business from what I know and every place has to include improvements and the owner does and has been doing that they just started pasta night… oh my goodness amazing! The chicken cheesesteak oh my goodness I cannot rave more about it!

Katie is the absolute most attentive bartender I’ve found in the area. The atmosphere can get extremely busy but it is a giant group of people that will take you in like family so that should never lead to shying away. Jim (the owner from what I’ve heard) makes his rounds and makes sure everybody is satisfied with their experience. I cannot think of a more welcoming, accepting and open space to come out and have fun. The food is GREAT too, after many menu revamps over the years. Ask about the secret menu with blue cheese burgers if you like blue cheese. I get it every time and the crumbles here are AMAZING! Step it up and ask for nothing but bacon laid over your crumbles for the perfect burger (my personal favorite)! With family friendly games/events almost every night of the week, there’s no place better!

New Resteraunt on Buffalo Lakes Rd. My second visit and even better than the first time I visited. Owner is hand on and the atmosphere is welcoming, perfect for the whole family. The menu is on point, if your looking for Irish food knockoffs dont come here, everything is cooked and taste as authentic as if you were in Europe. Goghly recommend the Bangers N Mash, the Grilled Cheese Pulled Pork. And the Wings are to die for.

This is one of our favorite local spots! They serve a variety of diners meats, although their veggie burger is still a fave! Chelsea is a fantastic server! Great, attentive servers, fantastic vibe with a variety of seating, both inside & out! Its a fun place to watch the game. Come for lunch or dinner & bring the kids. There are games, puzzles, etc. Nights are more of a bar vibe.

We took a lot from the menu and everything was hot, delicious, and fresh.

Flew in from ABQ and made the mistake of coming here to watch a game. After waiting forever just to be seated, we were told the TVs were already “mapped out” — like customers don’t matter. Zero effort to accommodate us, zero apology, and a whole lot of don’t-care attitude. This place clearly hates its customers. Save your time, money, and sanity and go literally anywhere else. Furthermore reading this guy’s unhinged responses are close to comical!! The place is joke and his responses are outrageous!!!
