GREAT FOOD. GREAT SERVICE. Very nice restaurant. Good views. Owned by Venture Global who is building the huge new LNG plant by the restaurant. We arrived about 5 PM on Thurday and by 6 PM the place was filled with area workers.

I treat myself to a hearty meal once per week or so on a typical tour (4-6 weeks out). This was one of the finest! Everything was all-around top notch! …the service (Shelby), food (chef), setting, and attached store. This is a destination in itself.

What a wonderful surprise this Lighthouse restaurant. We enjoyed the view and the excellent service. Our lunch was good, and the bread pudding amazing. Just make sure to check on the opening hours, we were barely in time for lunch and they close at 2 pm.

We had a blast here, enjoyed this outing. Should be 4.5 stars, if you want Shrimp and grits on the weekend then Saturday is the day because they were sold out Sunday. My man Bailey insured us that better supplies are in the works though.

This restaurant is truly charming. Although it’s located within a factory, it’s definitely worth taking the detour to visit. The atmosphere is lovely, offering a pleasant view. The food exceeded my expectations, and the service was quick and efficient. I highly recommend it.

Me and my wife came down, so we decided to try out Lighthouse Bend. We walked in and was greeted. The view, though not much to look at, is nice and definitely helps with the atmosphere. The food was a little pricey but very good for what you pay. Bethany, our server, though she was training she was super attentive, offered food suggestions. Next time we are down we will for sure be back. Hopefully Destiny will be serving by then. She has a great trainer!!

We drove here for lunch today. It was well worth the 2 hours drive for us. We ordered the spinach & artichoke dip, which comes with fried saltines. Amazing. My husband ordered shrimp & grits, I got a blackened chicken sandwich with fries. He had a glass of wine while I enjoyed an espresso martini. We ended up with a bread pudding to go, and all I can say is Oh My Goodness. Don’t leave there without at least getting some to go. Especially if you won’t be able to make it back soon. 10/10

This is an update based on our second visit to the Lighthouse Bend. We arrived this time mid afternoon to an empty restaurant except for one outside table with a party of 6. We were promptly seated and provided menus. Our group ordered a variety of delicious food so we had a great sampling of menu options. The restaurant has new chefs since the last time we were here and that has definitely upped their game! I had the Texas Club and my better half had the Chicken fried Chicken. We were both highly impressed! Reddish tacos? Cajun burger and Texas patty melt were all excellent too. The manager came by and spoke with us about the restaurant and plans for a more Cajun focused menu coming soon. We also had some wonderful deserts (waffle peach cobbler and bread pudding in particular) to cap off the meals. Bottom line…highly recommend Lighthouse Bend the next time you visit Cameron!

A gem of a find in Cameron La! This was the only sit down restaurant we could find. Cameron is still suffering the effect of hurricanes Laura and Delta several Years ago. This restaurant has a modern vibe and a variety menu ranging from a burger to steak and seafood with a Cajun
Flair. I had the Texas patty melt and it was very good. Others in my party had the chicken fried chicken and they all liked their meal (” not the best I’ve ever had but the best in Cameron”). We arrived at the peak of lunch hour so it did take a little while to receive our food. The server was very patient and helpful with us as first time visitors. Kudos to the staff and chef for this wonderful visit!

My husband and I made a special trip from Lake Charles to finally try out this place for a Saturday lunch. Overall, we thought it was just okay, but we will probably not be back unless we are already in the Cameron area. While the vegetables in and on our meals were fresh – the green beans were excellent, the seemingly made in house mashed potatoes were great, the fries, while a little undercooked were seasoned well, and all the toppings on the shrimp po boy were fresh, the breaded and fried aspects of our meals left more to be desired. The shrimp for the shrimp po boy were over done – the breading was burnt, and the shrimp were very tough. The country fried steak, while the white gravy was near perfect, the actual steak was also overdone, with parts of the breading being burnt, and the steak being tough. We also got fried pickles as our appetizer, and while the pickle spears tasted good, the pickle chips had a completely different type of breading that were also more on the burnt side.
The waitress we had was very nice, but the food part of the service was slow. I wouldn’t recommend coming here if you expect a quick bite for lunch. With the quality of our mains, I would be leery on ordering some more expensive dishes here based on the cheaper dishes we had.
