I ordered delivery from this place while visiting a friend in Grand Forks. I am from NYC and this place is an amazing authentic Mexican gem in North Dakota. We got the guac, both molcajetes and a torta. Everything was amazing. Homemade tortillas (from masa I think?) were so fresh. Everything tasted amazing.
If you want an amazing meal, check out abuelas. I am sure dining in is just as amazing with warm people to go with the homemade cooking. We’re in fact getting another round tonight.

Food is soooo good. I saw some other reviews saying food was bland. Not at all. It has just the right amount of spices and seasoning and heat. Staff is prompt, friendly and professional. Service with a smile is what I got the entire time. I had the Flautas and oh my goodness did they taste like what I could say home would. They were warm and filling. Rice 10/10. Beans, best I’ve had in Grand forks and I don’t like refried beans. Atmosphere is pleasant. I like the music choice and the decor seems feels like you stepped into a welcoming place.

The food they serve is unlike most “Authentic” Mexican places. I surprised to have what seemed like a homemade corn tortilla with my shrimp taco. Refried beans and rice also tasted better than I’m usually expecting. This is truly authentic Mexican food and it’s delicious. Will definitely return.

Smiles and great service from the moment I set foot thru the door. And my view of the kitchen told me the food was going to be awesome and it was even though I tipped the container getting into my truck .the tacos were fresh and loaded with all the good stuff .I cannot wait to return.

Went for breakfast for the first time. There were only a few other people in there. They greeted us quickly and took our order quickly. They brought out chips with 2 types of salsa and a free sopa. It was a nice surprise, because I hadn’t had fideo since living down south and have never seen a restaurant offer it, especially as a free table app. I had the chilaquiles and they were delicious.

This place kind of really got off to a rough start. They really got their food down now. I like the neighborhood location. There was a young guy that was really really high playing the guitar when we were there he was really good . It is a bit pricey. I just got spoiled on Los Angeles and San Diego and Tijuana. But the food is comparably just as good. Good service clean place five stars for sure

This establishment is a hard yes for a recommendation! The hospitality is unparalleled for any other Mexican restaurant I have been to! My Molcajete exceeded expectations and the horchata hit the spot after a nice summer day at the park.

Don’t miss out on this place!! In summary, it was super delicious! I ordered and was severed the food within 15 minutes of being there. They start off by giving you chips and a bowl of salsa. Not a little dish of salsa! An entire bowl! And a little cup of noodle soup! So good! I ordered the carne Asada chimichanga and it might have been the best chimi I’ve ever had! And the carne asada inside was very flavorful and tender. So much cheese inside and the tortilla was next level. I didn’t think it was greasy or mushy at all! Very enjoyable! Waitress was so sweet too!

This amazing little place should be on everyone’s list when visiting Grand Forks. Great amazing ,flavorful, authentic Mexican food. So fresh and refreshing flavors. Everything is made fresh to order. Service was amazing and attentive. I will definitely come next time I’m in town.
