We ordered takeaway online last Friday at 7.10pm for pick-up. The app advised a 25-minute wait; however, we ended up waiting over 45 minutes (the app did not update to say our order was ready). My partner mentioned the restaurant didn’t appear overly busy and we were order number 10, so the delay was disappointing.
The chilli chips were unfortunately very poor. They tasted like they had been reheated in the microwave – still raw in texture and then drenched in sauce. At $15, this was particularly disappointing.
We also ordered from the Indo-Chinese menu and chose the fried noodles with chicken. The flavour was nice but nothing special, and despite requesting no vegetables, the dish was still mostly vegetables.
The saving grace was the lamb bhuna, which was quite nice. It wasn’t the best curry we’ve had, but it was noticeably better than the other dishes we ordered. The garlic naan was the highlight – authentic and delicious.
Overall, the experience was underwhelming given the wait time and price.

We ordered takeout – it was quick and easy to navigate the menu and our order was ready on time. Food is plentiful and delicious, tastes fresh and great value for money. We had chicken jalfrezi and lamb rogan josh with garlic naan and all were authentic – particularly enjoy the smoky tandoor flavour and crunchy capsicum.

The best in ages! Beautiful food.
We had a non-vegetarian Mixed Platter, Chicken Sagwala, Dal Makhani, a gluten free nan, garlic nan and a plain nan. Drinks: Mango Lassi, an alcohol free beer and a glass of wine.
We will definitely be back.

You guys should seriously consider opening a franchise because the experience was that good. The owner was incredibly humble and kind, the service was flawless, and the food was absolutely mind-blowing. This was hands down the best Indian food I’ve ever had in my life. Every bite was bursting with authentic flavors and made with so much care. If you’re looking for a place that truly stands out, this is it.

Very slow service. An expected wait of 25 minutes for a takeaway took 45 minutes and staff didn’t seem in any hurry. Food is very tasty, just the wait when the restaurant was empty and order #3 took 45 minutes isn’t great.

Unfortunately we were told 25min but it took 50min, it’s ok if it takes a long time but please tell us so we know. Food was ok, flavour lacking but that’s what happens with a curry when it is only cooked a few minutes before.

We ordered one garlic naan and one lamb Prata. We were stoked as the garlic naan is very yummy then the lamb prata is even more yummy. The owner is very outgoing and we had lovely chat about Diwali festival while waiting for food getting ready. I was the last the customer, but the owner still preparing and cooking food carefully and patiently.

Used to be our go to. since moved so Decided to uber eats. Tiny pottle of very average curry. Not alot of flavor. Cold burnt naan, tiny onion bhaji with no flavor. Total disappointment for curry lovers. Wouldnt recommend

This restaurant is an absolute gem! The food is incredible and the hospitality makes it even better. The owner is one of the kindest, most genuine people I have ever met. He is so welcoming and humble, and you can tell he truly cares about his customers. The chili chicken was out of this world, perfectly spiced, full of flavor, and cooked to perfection. The shahi paneer was just as amazing, rich, creamy, and made with so much love that every bite melts in your mouth. I also tried lamb anar masala and chicken Bhuna masala just loved every bite of that. I never ever had that kind of lamb in my whole life. If you are craving authentic Indian food with top-notch service, this is the place to be. Highly recommend! Also I wanna mention I am from Australia (Sydney) me and my family had best food experience in all over New Zealand. Loved it and thanks to the owner and cooks as well.
