I order from this Indian restaurant very frequently and usually spend around £100 per order, so this experience was extremely disappointing.
I placed my order early, knowing full well it was a Friday evening and that it would be busy. When I ordered, I was told on the phone it would take up to an hour, which was completely fine. However, after an hour and a half had passed with no delivery, I had to call the restaurant myself. It took several attempts just to get through to someone. When I finally spoke to a lady, I was told they were very busy and that the food would be another 10 minutes.
After waiting an additional 20 minutes, I had to call again to check where the driver was. I was then told the driver was “on the way,” even though the restaurant is only about a 5-minute drive from my home. In the end, the food arrived nearly 2 hours late.
To make matters worse, some of the food arrived cold and hard, which is unacceptable after such a long wait. Throughout the entire process, I had to chase the restaurant for updates, and there was no apology or acknowledgment of the delay at all. As a regular customer who orders often and spends a significant amount each time, I expected much better communication and basic customer service.
I understand restaurants get busy, especially on Fridays, but honesty, proper updates, and a simple apology go a long way. Sadly, this experience has really put me off ordering again.

The food came out slow however very hot, the poppadams where warm and quite delicious however £1 each is abit exotic for something so simple. They also charged per chutney which for me is abit cheeky. The main dishes where very tasty and we quite enjoyed our meal.

We went to the restaurant twice and there is enormously tasty food . Definitely we will come back againWe like very spicy food and when ask about extra chilli etc we get it. We have tried many indian restaurants and to be honest that one of the few that we like most. The staff is very friendly and approachable.

This was my first visit to this established and frankly, my last. We turned up with 7 of us; the restaurant was virtually empty, so seating us wasn’t a problem. For over an hour, we had to wait for our food. There was no apology from the staff up until we asked where our food was. Every time, it was the same answer. It will be 5 minutes, it’s just coming. I got so fed up with being fobbed off that I left.
Don’t bother going here; try somewhere else.

I came here for a meal on Friday and wasn’t disappointed.
We were seated easily without a booking, the staff were very attentive and the food we ordered was hot and tasty. I will be returning and may even try the order for collection service.
I gave 4/5 as we were charged 80p each for 5 chutneys that came with the poppadoms.. and only ate and asked for 3 of them.
