The definition of a local diner. Good food. Good portions. Great prices. A great place to go if you are like me and avoid chain food restaurants. Breakfast and lunch are their wheelhouse. The staff are nice and actually engage the customers. Bella is a standout.

Ordered a ham and cheese omelette. The egg was still raw and we were never checked on once we got our food. I’m not one to complain, so I ended up having to pay for a disgusting meal I never even ate.

My family and I absolutely love Country Diner. It doesn’t matter if it’s breakfast or lunch you will not be disappointed. Great home cooked food that someone else cooks for you. Great options even for my picky eaters. The prices are even better. This is our new go to place to eat.

I took my wife and 7 year old grandson here “TWICE” today – Our 1st & LAST!
Arrived @ 12:45 pm and there was only 3 other tables occupied. Just after 1pm our drinks were ordered. About 1:10pm our grandson ordered a plain burger with nothing but pickles, and mozzarella cheesesticks, marinara, cheese sticks, and ranch dressing. My wife ordered a turkey club sandwich on toast, and onion rings. I ordered the “special of the day” – Catfish, coleslaw, and fries… but they were out of both coleslaw and fries so I chose baked beans and onion rings. 10 minutes later, (now only 2 other tables were occupied) the waitress informed me they were out of catfish, that I’d need to order something else. I said “I’m done”. 30 minutes later, the burger came fully dressed – not plain with only pickles! And the turkey club was on a sub-roll – not on toast! Still, only 3 tables occupied. Total time of over 1 hour, we left the food there, I paid and left – never to return.
P.S.: I gave the food a 3, only because we have no idea if it was good, because we didn’t eat it… JUST DON’T!! ‍

You know a place is gonna be good when it’s got wood panel walls, old tobacco stained ceiling tiles that are sagging and mismatched silverware. Food was straight up home cooked and Jess herself was in the kitchen doing the cooking! 10/10 recommend.

The food was delicious ok. I had soup beans and cornbread, if you eat soup beans and cornbread you can relate that giving someone a giant bowl of soup beans and a piece of corn bread smaller than the palm of your hand just Ain’t right. You will have to ask for more cornbread at this restaurant. The service was amazing, my drinks were kept full and my bill was taken care of quickly.
This is not the first time I have eaten here. Some days the food is better than others. If you are looking for basic home cooking the food is OK. They offer a lot of breakfast items, some lunch meals and have a daily special.
We booked the party room and was bumped last minute for a birthday party. So be carful if you book the party room. There is not a lot of good parking for this place either.
2025- new name and ownership…I will update soon

Was through town on business and wanted to find a hole in the wall hidden gem. While this place looked promising for that unfortunately I think I choose to eat during the wrong meal, going for lunch instead of breakfast. That being said it would definitely be a great spot to have a leisurely breakfast as the food is good and the atmosphere is perfect.

Specifically the cheeseburger was good with a huge patty of beef, well cooked but in need of some seasoning. Also the meat seemed to take over the sandwich diluting the flavors of the toppings which just couldn’t keep up. The sides were standard and a little inconsistently cooked. The hotdog was the better of the two items with a sweeter chili and a crunch slaw.

We came here for the 4.5 Stars, and a home cooked meal while we was travelling through the area. What we found was disorganized chaos. The gentleman out front was trying to take orders, check people out , refill drinks and run food. A customer grabbed the coffee pot to get refills to everyone. Disorganized chaos. Everytime the kitchen has a order to go out they yelled the guys name to run it. Showed up at 11:00 and at 12:03 we got our food. Hamburger was black and cold. The fries were hot though. My husband’s omelet was ok . The pictures were before we started eating. My husband’s omelet and seven potatoes slices was 9.99 and my burnt burger and fries were 8.99

Great little restaurant with a home cooked meal feel to it. Large menu with a good variety, tho make sure to ask which sides are available for the day (or read the sign cause I def didn’t do either). Food was a little under-seasoned for me but it was still delicious. Pricing as wonderful for size and style. It’s in between where my sister and I live so I expect to be back to try some other things.

Okay… I’ve been here 4 or 5 times, dragging friends with me after the first just to spread the word lol. I haven’t brought myself to order anything other than their burger because ITS SO GOOD.

I literally just got a burger and fries to-go from Huddle House for about $7, which was about the same as a normal burger from McDonald’s, and was so disappointed that I drove it right down the road to Country Diner to show a manager and thank them personally for their superior food.

Come to find out Huddle House themselves tried to throw them under the bus to the Health Department, this is a PSA right now. Their burgers are PHENOMENAL, their patties are hand pattied, and so thick and juicy. It’s delicious everyone, highly recommended if you like a good burger.

The double cheeseburger and fries combo is under $9 without tip and hands down the best deal on a great burger. Best in town, go get it. <3
