Food was good, service was fair. No refills, just cans of soda, so we didn’t see our server again after getting our food, not that it was needed.
Lots of seating outside though not much inside for large parties. Big TVs for watching sports, restrooms available.
It’s a nice spot if you’re in the area but it’s not necessarily a must. It’s just a little bar with decent food.

Tucked away in Burr Oak a great little local pub. Amazing food. Bacon cheeseburger with fried egg was on point. Beer is ice cold and staff super friendly

Real deal fun. This is a basic, wholesome fun bar ownes by the same folks for a bazillion years. Awesome bar. Local tenders. One small griddle to make basic burgers. The outdoor patio was a great addition. The bandstand gets you close to the action…if you care to dance or mingle in the parking lot. Love it.

I am visiting new places in Iowa after moving from Colorado. This is one place I will NEVER return to!! Started off our waitress, with the blonde hair and ponytail, had zero personality, and would get more of a reaction from a stick! Then, I figured for a full order of fries, we would be able to share. Wrong!!! It’s a normal sized order, which was not enough to share. You would only get 5 fries with a half order. Then upon getting our food…. not great either. You get charged for ranch, even with the chicken tender baskets. McDonald’s doesn’t charge for sauces, even with nuggets! Then we get the bill. Got two sandwiches then up charges galore for things already included on the burger mushroom/swiss and Philly. Got charged for bacon, cheese. And mushrooms. How is that right? It’s a crooked and terrible establishment. I would suggest staying far away or reviewing your bills first before just paying!!

It was great. The owner was there cooking, waiting tables and tending bar by herself. It was lunch time. There 2 people at the bar drinking, 5 separate lunch tables with 17 people total who all were having lunch and 2 people stopping in for “go” orders that each looked sufficient to feed 3-4 people. ALL customers were served promptly with no waiting, all tables bussed promptly, the tables, stools/chairs sprayed with disinfectant including the bar, she chatted with every table many of whom she new by name and she was never in a hurry. I have eaten all over the world in the last 65 years including some very upscale places. It was the most amazing 1 person band with full orchestra accompaniment I have ever seen. By the way, the food was great and prices reasonable. Fantastic experience!
