Golden City is an excellent restaurant. It’s some of the best Asian food you can get in the entirety of Shelby County. The restaurant was clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated. The Staff were very kind and they also serve some kind of chips on the house.
The food is amazing too. I tried the dancing dragon sushi roll and was very impressed. It was delicious, maybe even the best I’ve had local.
If you are in Columbiana for any reason, Golden City is a must try.

I love this place, I drive ~30-40 minutes just to eat there. Portion size is good, service is great, but the food there is amazing. I absolutely love their general Tso’s chicken, perfectly crispy chicken with a smooth very tasty sauce. Their fried rice is different but in a great way, the appetizer sauce with fried wonton strips is perfect and I havent seen replicated. Im not one for egg drop soup but theirs is the best Ive had and something I would actually order. Not to mention the price is unbeatable for what you get. The best Asian cuisine I have had and will continue my drive to eat there every chance I get!

The service was fast. The food was great! Im always on the hunt for good hot and sour soup and this place does it right! Not all Chinese places have Thai tea but this place does. I had the honey chicken lunch combo (entree, soup, rice and egg roll) with a Thai tea and it was $15. The portion size was good too. Next time Im in Columbiana I will have to try the sushi.

This is our favorite place to eat in Columbiana. You won’t find nicer people in the restaurant business! Their food is always fresh delicious. Sushi is great, entrees are great, soup is great! We normally eat in, but it is great to-go as well!

The food is alright- the prices are great! The service is also great. Orange chicken had a weird texture and was too sweet for my liking. Egg drop soup was good. Egg roll was alright. I did like the beef lomein (ordered without vegetables) and the fried rice is good once you add yum yum sauce. Nice quiet lunch spot.

The sushi was enormous and good. The crab ragoons were some of the best I’ve EVER had, the hot and sour soup was near perfection. We also really loved the “chips and dip” vibes with the fried wonton bits and sauce they brought to the table, it was a unique experience for us and it was delicious.

We love Golden City. I normally order the Happy Family. My wife really likes the Hibachi/Teriyaki Steak. If you are in the mood for Sushi, the Mexican Roll is amazing!
