The food was good and waitress friendly. We stopped in from Tx to grab a bit. I had the Cajun battered fish ,gets, Cole slaw, and shrimp. The fish was white, flaky, with a good flavor. We tried the cheese curds , I’m hooked on them now. Hamburgers were good places on a ciabata bun.

First time customers. We were a little unsure about going in. It was Friday night and a group of bikers had stopped for dinner. Were they going to be a rowdy bunch? We went in anyway. Yes it was loud and they were having a good time but they left shortly after. Then it calmed down. Music wasn’t to loud. We saw a wide array of people, from a 6 month old-to the elderly. Some families with kids, some groups.
I had chicken wings, and I must say, they were some of the best wings I have ever had. They were crisp on the outside, nice and hot on the inside. I had them plain and they tasted great without any sauce. They came with fries.. the fries could use some flavor. No salt. They are missing a great opportunity to make the wings shine even more.
My husband had the Cajun chicken sandwich. He said it had a pleasant burn and he likes hot stuff.
Staff were attentive and pleasant and kept the drinks refilled.

Silverado is a great place to hang out, have a few drinks, eat a fishfry, and the owner Theresa is the bomb!

Great place except the bartender is a negative cry baby that’s complaining of working to many hours and making snide comments about us wanting water after we just spent over 100$ in food and drinks. Sad that she is such a downer for the fall ride!

Excellent food!
The walleye fish fry was fantastic – with 2 huge pieces perfectly made. They potato pancakes with apple sauce as a side was very good. Well worth the higher price.
My wife loved her burger, which had a good sized patty and very good bun.
We ate at the bar and had excellent service. The beer was cold, with the mountains blue on our Coors Light!
This must be one of the best fish fries in Tomahawk, if not the best.

Nice bar and friendly staff. My disappointment is their food prices, way over priced. I had a cheese burger, $13, but heres the rub, if you want anything on it, pickles, tomato, onion, lettuce, 50 cents each item! I don’t know of any other bars in Tomahawk that charge you extra for items that normally come on a burger. So a burger and coke was $18. These are big city prices.

Sign says friday night fish fry but there was none. Sitting out on the deck was nice, watching the bikes go by. But when the loud women came out sharing very personal conversations, it got weird fast and we left. Typical bar inside.
