The vibe was a bit off. There was a young woman screaming and laughing so loud at the bar like it was her last chance to get laid on Saturday evening.
And now the food. It did not meet our expectations as we had quite a high ones after the review of the people’s feedback. The 16 Oz steak was just okay. But the sauce….Dear cook, several shmutz of half- cooked onions floating in a brown water does NOT make this substance a Bordolaise sauce ( at $8 per small cup). We had a good laughter. Sorry, but this is not a come back place.

We enjoyed Vangels for the first time last night. It’s only minutes from our house and always wanted to try it and finally so glad we did. Great atmosphere, great bar and it’s obviously popular as the place was full.
We had outstanding service from Megan. Very personable, checked on us often and offered great suggestions.
Our family tried the calamari, Brussels sprouts, bread service, tortellini, salmon piccata and house salad. All were spot on!!
We will be back soon to try more of the menu.

We came for dinner and we were amazed!! The ambiance is great for a date night. A girls night out. Or perfect for a happy hour after work with friends. My husband and I visited for a date night. He had an old fashioned and I had an aperol spritz. Both were great with nice presentation. I had the Airline Chicken and it was divine. Probably one of the most delicious and original dishes I have had quite some time. The chicken was perfect. The flavor of the noodles etc!! 100! My husband had the Porkchop which he thoroughly enjoyed as well. We will definitely be back!! 10/10

This was my first visit to Vangel’s (rhymes with Bangles). Kendall took excellent care of us. We had a very comfortable booth and the restaurant noise was low-moderate – just enough to be lively. My friends had the pork chop and nearly lost their minds (better than Annie Gunn’s). The chop is dry-brined overnight has a unique dry rub that they declared heavenly. As a sucker for meatloaf, I went for the “special” and got a very large slab of meatloaf with tasty herbs. Louie the owner was circulating (a hallmark of most successful restaurants). “I’ll be back.” Probably for the braised short rib!

I stopped in to try to grab food. Unfortunately they close the kitchen at 9pm. I was made a very nice old fashion with expediant service. The ice had a logo that matched the business. The only downside was the man who made my drink touched everything with his bare hands. I wish i saw him wash them(my obcession) but the place was immaculately clean, so trust sometimes is important. He was very neat and another individual seemed to be handling the cash and cards. Very nice environment, old fashioned was good. I prefer mine smoked, but was aware it wasnt when i ordered. Will have to try the food sometime.

Our server was very friendly, but our food delivery was very slow. The starter salads were very small for the price. The chicken piccata was good. The bread service at $6 (for average bread and oil) seemed out of place for what this restaurant is.

This is one of our favorite places in the area. It’s great for dine in and carry out. And it really fills a void that used to exist in the area. Every experience here is enjoyable. The owner is always visible, making sure things run smoothly, and it always seems like you’re family when you go there. We’ve been there enough that the owner now knows us, and I just can’t say enough nice things about the place. We’ve been regulars since it opened, and will continue to be as long as they are here! The drink menu changes with the seasons as does the food menu, and we love it!

Amazing aesthetic and vibe from the minute we walked in. We were greeted and seated by the owners, which is such a special and personal touch! India went out of her way to make me a specialty drink that I happened to see on IG. 10/10 for all the things!

Can’t say enough good things! This place is legit outstanding. The food is amazing, we didn’t have a single thing we didn’t love, and the service was top notch. For appetizers we tried the arancini and honey glazed carrots, highly recommend them both! We also ordered the baked lasagna entree and it was honestly the best lasagna I’ve ever had. We will definitely be back!
