5/5 – service
4/5 – Egg Benedict
2/5 – waffle (dense and hard)
2/5- Interior is nice but for the entire place smell like bleach. I had a hard time enjoying my food honestly.

We were seated right away. Great staff. Very attentive. The food took sometime to come out but the egg Benedict was good, worth to wait a little. The place is spacious. Many booths. Street parking in the front.

Been avoiding this place, but since I have heard friends come here frequently, I decided to try it. Unfortunately, first and last time.

I wanted the pastrami sandwich as it was highlighted on the menu. They didn’t have it. Ordered my family’s meals and told him to come back around for me. Nothing I really wanted, so I decided on the chili since it was cold. Didn’t have that either. I gave up and just didn’t order anything for myself.

Everything was bland, the cute little salt shaker was used a lot during our stay.

Had the disco fries, and unfortunately I can count how many fries were on their. Especially at that price point, I would think it would be more. Gravy was on the side, and I didn’t know what type of gravy it was. Also ordered the chicken tenders. Chicken was tender, but bland.

Strawberry pancakes were ordered, and fairly decent if ate while still hot, but once it cooled down the pancake was not fluffy anymore. Strawberry butter was nice! A little too much strawberry for me, but that’s just me and I will not downgrade on that.

Mac and cheese was okay, but again salt had to be added. It was runny, not thick, but okay.

Cheeseburger was next. Could not tell if it was house made or not. Meat was a little tough and lean. But it was okay.

What did strike me is that we had three things of fries, and all three were different. Disco fries were crispy, mac and cheese fries were over done, and the cheeseburger’s fries were a mixture of crispy, soggy, and overdone.

Either way, between the pricing and not having two things that I ordered, was just enough to put me in a sour mood.

We had breakfast at Country MKT Diner and it did not disappoint. There were five of us and we were seated in a comfy booth with plenty of space. We were greeted warmly and seated immediately. Jeremy, our server, was attentive and took our orders even though we were a little chaotic in the beginning with all the food options available. We got the Lumberjack Pancake Tacos, Breakfast Royale, Lady Sings the Blues pancakes, scrambled eggs and salad and Chicken & Waffles. Everything was delicious! The chicken was perfectly crispy and the bacon was inhaled by all. We will be back with family and friends to try more items on the menu.

My today experience here was terrible,
I was here with my friend and we were ready to enjoy our weekend with our brunch. We did order burgers but was terrible, with terrible late service and French fries.
We ordered a pancake as well we wanted to have it before burger but they did bring everything together late…
Never came around to refill our coffee.. and our server lady was aggressive to us. I’m not a child and she was kinda yelling.
Never ever again.. don’t waste your time and your money here..

Had the amazing opportunity to stop by this local diner on my way home from work. Upon walking in I was welcomed to both thier charming decor of diffrent music icons render in the form of posters and the aroma of cinnamon. Once I sit down I was greeted by my waiter who suggested that thier signature burgers were very popular for lunch. Upon my food coming out I was delighted by the fresh veggies and the juicyness of the patty. I am going to be honest my plate was clean within minutes it was that good! They also have an excellent black coffee which was a nice finisher to my meal.

Just happen to spot this place while waiting for an appt. Absolutely delicious. I had one of, if not the, best wedge salad ever. And the steak frites were delicious. The service (Sasha?) was very attentive and a delight. If you’re in the area, you owe yourself a quick trip. Their breakfast looks impressive, looking forward to returning.

Closter’s new local diner, very retro old school vibes with good food and service. Excited to go again

Food: excellent, simple and clean. Pancakes were one of the best I had in my life, avocado toast with salmon was solid, meditterenean wrap was very good and the steak tacos were amazing. Constantly filled my cup with good coffee!

Service: very nice, polite and accomadating

Atmosphere: you leave home and straight here with no effort and feel at home again

This establishment definitely has my stamp of approval and I will be back. Starting with the service, we were seated right away. We never had to call our server over at any point throughout the meal as she was very attentive. My friend and I both liked the extensive menu options and started out with the disco fries. Those were a great appetizer as this place does their fries right; well better than typical fast food quality. The fries came with a nice amount of cheese and bacon making for a flavorful bite each time. The gravy on the side was really good as well and while the fries did not even really need it, the addition was welcomed. We both ordered some of their fried chicken sandwiches, I believe I chose the Bun Jovi which was quite good. They let me substitute the swiss for american cheese, and it came with a nice amount of pastrami on top. The chicken was fried very nicely and I was overall happy with the sandwich. The only con I noticed was that the honey sriracha sauce on the sandwich tasted like hot sauce, or buffalo sauce to me. Normally hot honey is not too overpowering for me, but this had a little extra kick. I am not a fan of spicy food or buffalo sauce, so I did not care for that part but it was not overwhelming thankfully. I would probably try one of their other sandwiches when coming back. This place also has free soda refills which is a huge plus; little things like this go a long way because I did not feel like I had to ration my soda throughout the meal. I was able to relax, and indulge which is how a good meal should be. We were pretty full, so we did not get a chance to try any of the fancy desserts/shakes but their selection looked promising. I also suggest staying open a little bit later; I noticed they close at 8PM on Thursday-Saturday nights, but a lot of diner lovers like myself like to have late night bites. I would definitely recommend coming here and whatever you get, make sure it at least comes with a side of their delicious fries. As I said, this was a positive experience overall and I look forward to my next visit.

Lovely new spot in a cute town. Great place to go for breakfast or lunch. Comfy and perfect to sit in with some friends. Can picture going here a lot with a group of girls or great for families as well! Everything on the menu looks delicious and their kitchen worked fast despite only being open for a few days and being somewhat busy. Owner is very warm and welcoming- love to see it. The whole team was beyond sweet, all checked up on us nicely and provided excellent customer service. Excited to come back. Closter has truly acquired a gem – i can see them becoming the busiest restaurant in town very easily.
