Looks like more Verity, some taste that we have not had before……Mmmmm so good.
We just heard about this jem,and had to try it out.
We were so happy with did.
The food was amazing, we don’t like hot ( spicy )
So this was great. If you like it hot they can add to it for you. It had a mild ….I mean mild kick and we loved it.
They had a nice variety of food for every pallet.
Our server was very attentive to us and was there anytime we needed him.
Atmosphere was very nice and it was nice to have East Indian music playing.
The price was very good also. $21.00 for lunch.
We will definitely be going back next time we are Grand Prairie.
The buffet is good quality food, probably the only buffet I would recommend, it was really fresh for 25 dollars it was a good deal
Let’s talk about the Naan. Could be the best I’ve ever had. A unique texture and flavour that was actually amazing. The owner came out and I mentioned it to him and he said they cook it fresh to order. No trouble to tell either, it’s completely awesome.
Little bit of a language barrier as the server told us the naan bread and tandoori chicken were not included in the Buffett, they were, she just meant they weren’t out on display with the rest of the items. I thought we were going to have to pay extra for naan but we didn’t.
So good!
MARCH 2025 *Edit due to more recent experiences*: I always order veg pakora, and EVERY Indian restaurant I have ever eaten at provides mint chutney (the green one) with this dish. I ordered for take out and did not check the bag – when I got home there was none of this sauce. Next order (again, ordered veg pakora), and once again no mint chutney. This time I actually drove BACK to the restaurant to get some as that’s my favorite part and I had assumed the last time was a one-off mistake.
Fast forward to another order yesterday… I called the restaurant to order, no one answered. Placed our order online and received an email confirmation that this was received. Waited the usual ~30 mins and then headed over to pick up. They did not get the order at all, so we had to order again in person and then wait for it to be prepared. This time I checked the bag BEFORE we left. No mint chutney for the veg pakora. I went back to the hostess and asked her for some and it seemed like it was an issue to provide this even after severely dropping the ball with the phone/online order situation. I had to ask a couple of times before they gave in and provided the sauce that’s SUPPOSED to come with the dish. So – order at your own discretion (DO NOT ORDER ONLINE), and make sure you double check your order before you leave if you picked up.
Food was all still delicious, but this place needs to figure their stuff out. Will probably opt for another local Indian restaurant in the future that is more reliable.
FEB 5, 2026 **update to this review. It’s been a long time since I’ve ordered from here due to past bad experiences. (last was march 2025). Gave them another try. Placed our usual, fairly large pickup order. Once again got all the way home to realize we were skimped on our mint chutney to go with the veg pakora. Really disappointing especially since this was an issue I expressed in march 2025 and was told it would not happen again.
Do not leave the restaurant until you double check and make sure they include what’s supposed to come with an order.
