This photo says it all! The food is awesome! It is all “Clean your plate” worthy delicious. We arrived about 10:30am on a Sunday morning right before a huge rush. Only took about 10 minutes for a seat. We ordered two of the Famous Hearty Breakfasts and also a Denver Omelet. The food came out pretty quickly even though the place was obviously super busy. It was all perfect, hot and delicious. The service was attentive and friendly. Our server always had a smile for us even though she was super busy and running everywhere. The price was reasonable and the food was just the right amount. Thank you for a great breakfast experience! We’ll be back for sure.

I have wanted to try this place for quite some time. I’m so happy that I finally got to eat here. My daughter and I came here on January 2nd 2026 around 11 AM. Our server was amazing, I can’t remember their name. My daughter had pancakes and she loved them. I had the Bja omelette and I loved it. I can’t wait to come back, I’ll bring my husband next time. I really loved what was on the breakfast menu. I have stomach issues, and I am diabetic, so the menu was beneficial for me.

I had the chicken fried steak, grits, and toast. All very good and I would order again. My spouse had the special, which was the French dip with house chips. The chips were crispy and not too salty. We tried their home made hot sauce and LOVED IT. Bought a bottle to take home and will definitely be back to get more when this runs out. This place is amazing, even if just for the hot sauce!

We are visiting from out of town for a wedding and decided on this place because it’s open at 7 am.
I think those were the best egg Benedict’s I’ve ever had! I ate them too fast to take a picture.
My boyfriend order the cinnamon roll pancakes (pictured) and those were great too! Cute, clean, breakfast place!

When I moved here in May 2024 this quickly moved to the top of my FAVORITE bfast spots list. Specifically for the PB&J Time pancakes AND the service!! Today they officially literally forced me uncheck all boxes for them. I called my order in (as I usually do) I hung up feeling very apprehensive due to the personality or lack there of from the employee taking the order. Different person different personality (I get it) I get there order totally different than expected. I was met with a pretty condescending attitude from the lady that actually took the order. Long story short my food was visibly wrong I had to take it back 3 times before I got decent pancakes. Picture listed. All I wanted was PB&J Pancakes with the sauces on the side. I hope the cook was off today or something. I went 2 weeks ago on a Wednesday and got perfection. Today I got what is would call breakfast from my kids for Father’s Day or something

Came in from out of town to see my son at SIU and needed to find a quick place for breakfast this morning. Found Sunny Street and we were not disappointed. Food was great, owner even came out to see how the donut hole appetizer was tasting for us. Very polite staff and our server Bailey was fantastic. She was very cheery and really brightened our day. She loved it when my family member yelled out “Grits” to her when she asked what they wanted for a side dish and when the same family member asked for implements vs silverware…we all had a good laugh. Cinnamon role pancakes are a definite get! When we come back to see my son again we will stop back in…see you then Sunny Street

Jaeshyne’s service was spectacular. I have never felt more taken care of. Unfortunately I was assaulted by the fluorescent above at the booth in the left corner of the front dining room. If you are going to put lighting directly above the customer you MUST use a less harsh apparatus. It’s such a shame that the customer experience has been overlooked by management. I would give atmosphere 0 stars if I could. But once again, Jaeshyne: excellent.

Great food. Fast service. A great dinner serving breakfast and lunch menus from 6:30 to 2:30 most days. Eggs any style, French Toast pancakes, and Blueberry pancakes are great. Chicken salad is light and tasty.
