Went yesterday Sunday ordered the Ocean Perch..this was prepared incorrectly..this is half cooked. Also my husband ordered chicken wing dinner requested to be fried hard..this was fried but not correctly. I should have went by my first intuition was not ordered anything due to the filth on the floors. I won’t given the 1 star this is the only way to leave a review.

The guy who waited on me was so FXCKING rude. He had purplish long fake nails. The fish tasted like it was put in the funnel cake mix. On top of that, I didn’t get my onions and green peppers. Plus the chairs that’s in the restaurant is BROKEN. I WISH I hadn’t went there. It seems like it should be a higher standard sinse is located on Queen City Avenue. It’s NOT worth the time or money to go back there again. . .

This was my first time trying this place since I do not live in Cincinnati. I ordered a catfish dinner with fries. The ordering process was fine and the price was good as well for $7.99. However the menu stated cornbread breaded and I even asked when I placed the order to be sure. This is the way we cook it in Alabama so I was so excited. Well, I am no longer excited to say the least. Went to pick up food and no one in the restaurant/bar had on a mask, not even the workers. Strike #1. I decided just to pray over my meal and pray for the workers as I say grace. Took food home and I did not have catfish. It looked and tasted like Swai. I am a southern girl. I know what catfish looks and tastes like. Strike #2. The breading had about a teaspoon of cornmeal in it if any. Strike 3. Three strikes and you are out but it does not stop there. The only good part is when I called to let them know it was not catfish the young lady said they could remake my meal because the fish orders must have gotten switched. This was nice of her but the fish I received did not taste like any of the other fish they have on their menu. Strike #4. So I gave them a nice tip today (the cost of my food plus tip) but they will not get any more of my money. I tried it but I will not be returning. Buyer beware! If you do not know the taste if catfish you may enjoy but not me. #southerngirlforlife

I called here after a disastrous experience at another fish restaurant. They were very nice on the phone and were equally as nice in person. The fish was still hot after a 15 minute ride back to my office. The onions and peppers is a nice addition to the fish and fries…The only thing missing was mustard and hot sauce (that comes standard in Indy where I’m from) but I won’t hold it against them since I didn’t ask for it.

My whole family has been going there for years! The best cod around no doubt!!!! My dad loved their catfish also!!! I do not eat fish from any where else only cod from here 🙂 since they moved in with Murray’s the kitchen is a wreck but very good food and we only order to go but you can sit down there Nd watch them make your food so you know it’s fresh! ( that’s what we do ) never ever had bad food from Louisiana fish bar!!! Btw Murray’s has the biggest fattest and the best hot wings around also!

Good handbattered fish is hard to find. Most places want to serve deep fried frozen. The batter was very thin and crispy and the cod was out of this world! I’ll be visiting frequently.

Went for lunch today, got there earl, and we both ordered the Fried Cod Dinner with Saratoga Chips.
The fish was Fantastic! Fresh, hot, and crisp with a great taste! Makes this one of the best places in Cincinnati for fish!
Saratoga Chips were a little soggy but had a good taste. Probably cooked up yesterday
Nice servers, and an overall great experience!
Definitely going back for more and to try other items!!

I ate my food too fast to capture a photo but… this is my favorite place in Cincinnati for catfish. I found this place like 20 years ago when I lived on the West Side and even though I moved east… I still make the trip west. It’s so good, fresh and the staff are always friendly.
