Ordered delivery last week and it was perfect. Ordered delivery today. Container was half the size as last week. One bite of rice in the tiny container and piled on toppings in the too small container made the flautas soggy and inedible. Too bad because the first experience is what brought me back a 2nd time. Won’t make that mistake twice.$17 plus fees for this.

I stopped here after a hike one day. Due to the name I expected am actual taco bar where we make our own. I was not expecting top quality food with real homemade fresh tortillas de maiz… they were so good I had to buy extra to bring some home. That was pricey but very good. The tacos here reminded me of LA street tacos. I also tried the torta and was not a big fan. Next time I go I will definitely be piling up on the tacos and their delicious agua de horchata.

I’m quite impressed this establishment has risen the scale for me. Before they had opened, and I wasn’t really catching a vibe with their menu. After coming here, I noticed the inside and menu has changed. They provide a restroom to use, indoor and outdoor seating, and self serve complimentary water. The service was on their game, and the way it works is it’s like a chipotle. You pick and choose what you want in your taco, quesadilla, and burrito. It may not sound exciting but wait till the food you ordered is presentable. The food was delicious, I got carne asada quesadilla topped off with guacamole, pico de gallo, and cilantro with an order of esquite. The corn was delicious, must try if you want it. The meal came with free chips and wow the chips were crunchy, I love it! Drinks such as agua Fresca, it was good. I recommend this Mexican restaurant to locals and newcomers!!

Fresh made to order corn tortillas were BOMB! The El Pastor was a little on the dry side, but could have just been my timing. The QuesoBirria was amazing. Lots of options to customize your food. I absolutely loved the variety. Well done tacos!

So happy to find chicharrones on the menu, my man ordered a trio of meat tacos and said they were all excellent especially the chicharrones. I ordered the queso birria tacos and thought they were good but nothing special, I wish I could find a place that actually serves goat rather than beef for their birria. We will definitely go back, I’ve got my eye on some of their other menu items.

New favorite: Quesabirria! I stopped in expecting the standard chipotle experience, and was pleasantly surprised. Good quality of food, different from the standard Mexican Food experience I’ve come to expect in the Bay Area. Can’t wait till the new location opens in Walnut Creek area.

I came here a few times. I like their veggie burrito. It is more expensive. I also like how they make it in front of you. Churros are also good.
UPDATE: I come here occasionally. Within the last 2-3 weeks I came here twice. I noticed a moldy taste in my mouth. When I examined the chips I noticed white specks on it. I called to let them know. The lady was apologetic and said they were fresh daily. She never said she would let the manager know, just that she was sorry. So just be careful what you eat.
