Took my daughter to this place. Will never do it again. As we walked in, we noticed the staff stared at a strangely. The manager running. The register was very rude as we received our food. We saw that the sandwich was dry and cold . The greens tasted like medication and smell highly like vinegar. This was the worst experience I had ever had. This is a store that my grandmother used to go to all the time. What happened ! We will not recommend anyone to visit this store

Two things I noticed about this BBQ, either the meat is day old meat or smoked on the fly AND if it is old meat was it re-heated with propane? First bites were OK and as I got to the end of the PoBoy, I got the sharpest taste of propane. Not definitively sure it was propane but I know the taste of it. The fries were amazing just because it is freshly cooked. Hospitality is spot on nice. Clean restaurant. One review states this place has a cafeteria feel, what BBQ place doesn’t have that feel? This is Texas BBQ right? I went to Pensacola, Florida where I had chopped brisket and it easily won my approval despite being out of Texas. Maybe I might come back in a few years and see if this BBQ improved any.

Visited the Dallas location to order food for my family. The order was supposed to be a full slab & a half of ribs or equivalent. My total was $37. After arriving home I see only FIVE RIBS in my order. I immediately called & spoke with A young lady & the manager Johnny. His exact words were “I got you” & told me to come back & they would give me ends/additional to suffice. I went back & the manager Johnny tells me I had to bring the five ribs with me which he did not mention over the phone. He did nothing to assist but just say he can’t give out $36 in ribs without the other ribs. A complete rip off! Horrible customer service. NEVER AGAIN WILL THEY GET MONEY FROM ME. I want to speak with corporate asap!

This plate was very deceiving! Do not come here save your money! The brisket was not brisket. It was dry and Tasted like straight smoke I felt really old. The mac & cheese did not taste like mac & cheese, and the macaron felt so old . I spent 22$ on sausage & bread which was the only thing edible on here !!

Haven’t been there for a very long time. I met for lunch, and was really surprised. It was a very nice place to meet. Very clean place with a very friendly staff. I was pleased to have gone and probably will return. Food was very good and choices were plenty. Had a nice condiment bar. Plenty of seating and a relaxed atmosphere. If you haven’t been in a while, it’s worth another visit if you’re looking for a BBQ.

Love colters. I miss them so much. Anyone raised in Dallas knows they used to be everywhere and now it’s a rarity to find one open.
I drove an hour and a half to come experience the colters I knew back then and I was not disappointed. The flavors were there: the staff was kind.
My only note if anyone cares, is the sauce was a tad runny – as a cost manager I understand it though. Flavor was still excellent and whenever I’m out this way I will be back.

First time here. This place is not welcoming at all!!! They stare at you until you order. I even mentioned it was my first time and she stared blank in a way it was almost like rushing me to order … Ordered baked potato it was dry cheese didn’t even melt no one ever smiled. Waste of $57.60 !! Only nice person here was the ballon guy. Never again!!! Also, the bathroom smells disgusting like sewer!!!

2023 Review:
Figured we’d try this place again because it’s been a while. Saturday night at 8pm they were completely dead. And it’s no wonder. $20 for a 3 meat plate with 2 sides and rolls. Inflation brought the prices up but the quality went down so I’ve removed stars from my earlier review. It’s still a lot of food but less than half of my meal was edible. The pulled pork was completely flavorless, the macaroni was watered down and flavorless, the apple cobbler that I was so happy to find last time was RAW dough on the bottom. My husband did enjoy the ribs. The turkey, ham, brisket, and sausage were okay but not good enough to bring us back.
The kid charged us for 2 drinks without asking if I was having a soda also when my husband ordered one. I drink water. He refunded it without fuss. Mistakes happen. But had I not caught it we’d have been ripped off.
Then to top it off there’s a charge added to card purchases that wasn’t mentioned. It’s one price if you pay cash and another if you pay by card. That lost them my business and all of their stars. We’ll never be back.

Pretty good barbecue at a decent price. I really enjoyed their sausage, baked potato, beans, and potato salad. The corn wasn’t to my liking though. This is the only place down here (so far) that I’ve found anything other than peach cobbler (they have apple also) so that made me very happy.

I was Looking forward to lunch here but it was disappointing.
They tried to serve me spoiled chicken, then the second round was just dry and old, beans were spoiled, slaw had no taste.
