This place is ridiculously expensive and the employees are always borderline rude, attitude like they don’t want your business. I went in at 7pm and the whole seating area was blocked off entrance and exit with chairs so no one could sit down. On purpose, too, I heard one employee telling another to block off the one area that wasn’t blocked. I get wanting to clean up but an hour before close? I got a sandwich and soup, he said $30.97. $30.97 is absolutely highway robbery for the food here. They had added a gluten free fee and I hadn’t asked for gluten free. $7.50 for canned chicken noodle soup? I told him to take both off and it was still over $20 without the tip. (Yes, I still tipped, even though I don’t get the tipping for food you order and pick up at the counter) The food here is fair, It’s decent but nothing special. Oh, and they don’t take Apple Pay and the tables are always sticky. Sucks because it has the location and menu potential to be really good, a go-to place for breakfast lunch and dinner.

Paid $30 ($4 DD tip) for a lukewarm western burger that was missing the lettuce and about 8-10 cold waffle fries. I put the food on a 10″ plate for size context. I had not eaten any of the fries prior to taking the photo and you can see that for $5+ (price of a regular fry) you don’t get much. The burger itself was bland and screamed low effort. What I received looked nothing like the pictures they advertise. Based on my experience I can mot recommend.

If you haven’t been here in a while like me (2021) you might give it another shot. The old Manager is gone. It seems to be on track for the better. Food was good, service was 100% better and the orders have been correct. Matt. You can think you sister. She’s out here doing PR for you.

Wow! We stopped here on our way to Teddy Roosevelt National Park. First of all, there is no sign to tell you where this place is. It’s located inside the Smiling Moose deli. In fact, they are one place, but there are two different Google listings for them, one for the burger place and one for the deli. The reviews for the burger place were pretty good. So, we thought we’d try! We did not have a good experience here. My wife asked for her sandwich to have no onions and banana peppers on the side. The young staff made the sandwich with both onions and banana peppers on it. (See the problem?) My burger was acceptable, although the bun was incredibly dry, and there weren’t enough napkins available to deal with all of the grease. Seriously, no napkins that I could just grab! The waffle fries were served cold (!) and very dry, with no ketchup. After our food was delivered, all of the staff went outside. All of them! They left us alone in the restaurant. There was no one else there. We wanted to get some silverware and ketchup but had to wait until staff walked back into restaurant. At least, the cromulent atmosphere had duct tape holding the upholstery together on the benches. I won’t be back. You should not go either.

Issue 1: Firstly this is the burger brand sold within the Moose Sandwich shop but just don’t bother coming at all.
Issue 2: Service was so bad I thought I was on a hidden camera show.
Issue 3: Atmosphere – My family and I were the only people there at 8:10pm. It closes at 9pm yet all of the chairs were stacked in the corner and the area with the menus/queue was blocked off as it was wet after cleaning and the floors in the dining area were sticky
Issue 4: False advertising – I ordered a kids meal for me son. It was a cheeseburger but when I tried to get a drink I was told that the drinks did not apply for the cheeseburger. See picture attached which clearly states cheeseburger, fries and drink. When I challenged this I was told that the system said something different so there was nothing that could be done ..and so I was charged for the drink.
Issue 5: order fulfillment – one of the burgers was a tex mex but they failed to put pico nor avocado on it making it just a standard burger with an inflated price…

I ordered Togo and got 2 burgers with fries one of the burgers I got buffalo fries with and by the time I got home they were super soggy and barley felt like they were actually cooked at all before getting sauced. I didn’t receive all the toppings I asked for on my burger and they make you pay 1.50 extra for bacon (which I got on both burgers) just to find out they just throw some bacon bits on it. For 41 dollars I can say what I got was definitely not worth it. I could have gotten a better burger in a school cafeteria

It seems like a fast food operation, but the prices and wait times are more in line with a full service restaurant. The food was tasty, but not worth the prices. You look at the menu, think the price isn’t bad for a meal, then realize that’s just for the six inch sandwich alone.
