Tommy was absolutely amazing!! The burgers we’re absolutely amazing. Got just the regular bacon cheeseburger as well as Big Daddy huckleberry, so good! We will definitely be coming back here even though it is a bit of a drive. It is worth every penny. Also the homemade Huckleberry barbecue sauce that is made daily from scratch a must have for at home.

I got a single patty big daddy huckleberry bbq bacon burger, it was really good, next time I would request a little more sauce on my burger. Other than that this was an excellent burger, the flavors and textures all play well together. The bacon was cooked perfectly and the brioche bun, just yum! The fries were perfect with and without fry sauce. The gentleman even cooked fresh bacon. Highly recommend and will be back.

This was one of the best burgers I’ve had in a long time. I got the bacon cheeseburger. The burger sauce is reminiscent of Animal Sauce from In-N-Out. The onion slices are super thin. Perfect amount of lettuce and tomato. Pickles on top of the bun which actually helps increase the pickle flavor throughout since it soaks into the bun.

Great place! Was craving a burger after hiking Multnomah falls. Saw the 4.6 review which made it a quick decision to go! Delicious burger, fry sauce was everything I hoped it to be and the bbq sauce was great. Service was top notch, very friendly! $16 for a burger and fries, I thought was a great deal too. A+ from me 🙂

First off, props to The Good Burger Shack for speed—my order was out in no time, which is always appreciated when you’re running low on fuel. The fries came seasoned just right, with a nice kick of flavor, though they could’ve used a touch more time in the fryer to hit that perfect crisp.
I went with the Bacon Cheeseburger, and while it arrived well done, it still managed to stay impressively juicy. The bacon added a satisfying crunch, and the overall build was clean and balanced. That said, the patty itself could benefit from a bit more seasoning to really bring out the beef’s character.
Overall, it’s a solid spot with fast service and good fundamentals. A few tweaks and it could easily level up from good to great

I walked around the food carts multiple times, but Darryl from the Good Burger Shack was the first one to acknowledge me and offer a warm smile.
I got the Huckleberry BBQ burger with fries. Darryl was proud that the fries are hand cut and that they make their own BBQ sauce. The in-house made fry sauce is amazing as well, actually has flavor!

Holy spit … I was expecting just to pull over to this food cart pod and have a quick ‘fill the belly’ meal — not a culinary experience, just a nourishment stop. These guys really impressed me. They were gracious with my dog jumping up on their cart (I’m sure she smelled the bacon!) and the burgers were really exceptional. I drive across town for the right burger and I would make this Troutdale location a worthwhile visit for their burgers. Worth the visit!

I had one of the best burgers ever today from the good burger shack. Jam on a burger with bacon??!! Yes, puhhhhlleeeaasseee. The fries were also absolutely out of this world, especially too because I got to dip them in ranch. They were a little slow because they had only one person working, but wow did she know how to make a burger.

We were there early while few places were open. This truck was getting ready for the day. Tommy saw us milling around and offered to make breakfast sandwiches despite them not being on the menu. Three out of four of us took him up on the offer and we are glad we did. They were fantastic and so were the fries he added to the side.

The Huckleberry BBQ Chicken Sandwich was probably THE BEST chicken sandwich I have ever had. The chicken was perfectly cooked, the Jalapenos and Pepper jack cheese added just the right amount of kick, and the Huckleberry sauce was simply perfect. Will definitely be back…
