Our initial chip bowl had mostly broken chip pieces. ThecSalsa that came with it was thick but bland. Maybe salt and pepper on our table or a selection of hot sauce to heat it up might be a nice choice. I felt like the portion sizes for dinner prices should have been a little larger but no one left the table hungry. Our server was polite friendly and helpful. I definitely think spending $7 I’m one piece of corn on the cob was a little frivolous. The taste of a corn with least liked at the table as it tasted sour.

Really nice looking place. Tvs over the bar, couple of people for wait staff, bartender and cooks in back. Had the food and people taken care of in minutes. Carry out orders were plentiful that night too. Large orders. As much as I liked the place, staff, atmosphere and look of the food. The taste was missing. I could have used some more flavor to make the night better. Tried a different margarita flavor, pineapple, just not it. My wife had the mango margarita,it was good.

A truly fun restaurant. Tasty food, delicious drinks, upbeat music, and friendly service made our night! We came to celebrate my birthday and the dancing skull head with a Tequila shot topped things off. Will return many times.

This place is a whole vibe! The service was great. Everyone was so friendly so welcoming so nice and so entertaining! There was a short wait, but very much worth it. There was so many things I wanted to try, but I ended up getting the chicken alamada and it was delicious. The star was so fun and it’s a great atmosphere. My only criticism is that margaritas were a little lite on the tequila, I ordered two and they were kinda weak, but they did taste good.

THEY DON’T MISS!….My absolute favorite spot to go to….when you need a place to go that is all the time… every time, Tequila Modern is a sure bet. The owner Angel knows what he’s doing. Fantastic food, fantastic drinks and fantastic vibe. You need to ask for Shannon by name as a server, because she knows the drinks and menu like the back of her hand. Don’t get me wrong the entire crew is top notch, but a special shot out to Shannon who will make sure you have a great time here. I cant recommend Tequila Modern enough. Stop through one time and you’ll be hooked.

My wife and I recently stopped at Tequila Modern Mexican for dinner. This is a newer restaurant over in DeSales Corner of East Walnut Hills. It’s a bit upscale for a Mexican restaurant, a trend that seems to be pretty popular these days.
I ordered the enchiladas fridas which is three fresh tortillas stuffed with chicken, smothered in green tomatillo sauce, garnished with sour cream, onion, and queso fresco, and served with a side of rice and beans ($17). This was a lot of food and it all was pretty tasty. The sauce was very good and there was a lot of cheese on top to give some balance to the meal.
The enchiladas filled an entire plate, so the beans and rice are served separately, which is actually kind of nice, though I would be fine without the side dishes at all. The real star of the meal were the enchiladas.
My wife ordered the spinach chicken, served as a bed of vegetables with a chicken breast, spinach, and melted mozzarella on top ($19). She got some tortillas on the side to eat it sort of like you would with fajitas. Again it was a lot of food and the flavor combinations were good.
We also tried their spicy margaritas ($12) which had a spicy rim and fresh jalapeno included. A pretty spicy combination but delicious as well.

Decided to try the New Mexican restaurant on Madison’s on 4th of July! We sat at the bar. We ordered to margaritas one spicy the other with cucumber. Was very tasty. Cups and salsa came out and it was fresh! We ordered a main vegetable tacos and shared it as we were not that hungry! I definitely would say that is not just any Mexican restaurant! It was fresh and very yummy! People working there were very friendly and always smiling! Please try them out
