new bartender told me my ID was fake because it said I was “6’7”. It says I am 5’7 and every other person in the bar told him that. he would not serve me because he wouldn’t take the time to look close enough to see it said 5’7. i think he was too embarrassed to admit he was wrong. i always tell everyone how they have the best drinks there. will be talking to the owner if i can, hope i can come back even though this random man claims my ID is fake.

Talk about racist, this place is disturbing! Title VII of the Civil Rights Act maintains no business is allowed to turn away a customer based on the person being a member of the following protected status including race. Spend your money elsewhere.

Tonight was the first time I decided I wanted to try this place out. I’ve lived here for many years and wanted to try something other than Lucy’s. I will definitely say I will never go back. After meeting some old friends, having 1 drink and hanging outside for a bit (we have some smokers) we proceeded to return inside to order a pizza and another round of drinks. We were told by the bar tender that we were “cut off” according to the owner. So we said our good byes and left to go to Lucy’s. I found out from a friend of the owner, that the owner was watching us on the cameras and said we were serving my friend’s daughter alcohol! Absolutely not! One, we are teachers in this community and WOULD NEVER serve an underage child alcohol. Two, the child was our designated driver. She is 18 years old and was just enjoying the night like we were since we hadn’t seen or talked to each other in a while. And three, she had 8 waters while we were there. So I’d actually like to thank the owner for showing her true colors. We went to Lucy’s after being kicked out and bought some incredible food and tipped the sweet waitress at Lucy’s very well. So much for trying a new place. I’ll keep going to Lucy’s once a week instead. Better atmosphere and great workers!

Ashlee is a phenomenal bartender! Very welcoming from the start, attentive, and aware of all of her customers! Her jello shots were tasty as well!

It’s kind of hard to rate this one. Really good service. Pool tables. Cash only. Bathrooms are one person at a time. The main bar area is really small. Add a band in there and I think you only have 4 or 5 tabletops plus bar seating. Dirt parking lot. Never ate here. It actually is an old log cabin. Cool vibe. Dive bar with good customers. Everyone is always polite.

We didn’t eat there other than popcorn and chips. But the atmosphere was that of a small pub/bar. The bartender was friendly and attentive. I will definitely be returning.

It was ok. We couldn’t play pool cause the tables are off limits… which is stupid. But we had a good time.

It takes me a few visits to a bar to even consider reviewing it online. And boy oh boy I can’t wait to tell y’all about the Log Cabin!
The name says it all.. when you walk into this little log cabin turned bar.. you typically hear laughter from one or two different group(s) of people and I can’t forget the chatting, joking and laughing from the group of men sitting at the bar. The atmosphere is very relaxed, chill and friendly. (I joke with family, outside of Chino Valley) that the Cabin really is Chino Valley’s version of Cheers. Everyone truly knows your name and typically greet you with a smile and a warm hello.
It has a touch tunes jute box, tables, games and if you head into the small back room (where you can typically find me) you are welcomed by TVs with sports and a pool table. They regularly have live music going on weekly and karaoke. It’s pretty quaint and I absolutely love it.
If you go in the evenings you typically will find one of my favorite bartenders. Michelle M. Greets her guest with a smile. Quickly has them laughing and her own contagious laugh to follow. She makes every patron feel seen. She memorizes orders quickly and has a way of remembering something personal about you that lets you know you she isn’t just there for a paycheck, she truly cares.
As I make my decision on what I am doing for the night, sometimes it truly comes down to who is behind the bar. And if it’s Michelle the decision is easy.
The bar patrons are typically made up of regulars and they embrace new faces with a smile and introduction. They maybe observant but the regulars at the Cabin are some of the friendliest people I’ve met in Chino Valley.
I highly recommend you checking out the Log Cabin for yourself and if Michelle M is behind the bar, you’re golden! Enjoy!
