Cozy little spot. Had the perch plate Friday night and it was delicious! Drinks were also very good! Brandy old fashioneds. Get there early because this place fills up quick! Also not too many tables besides the bar, so it may not be good for large gatherings of more than several people. Would definitely come back. Super friendly staff. Makes you feel like home.

Foodie Duane The Wisconsinite had the opportunity to stop in here on 12-20-24 to try there Friday Fish Fry. I had there Perch & Shrimp Dinner which consisted of fresh perch and shrimp, your choice of potato, rye bread, slice of onion, coleslaw, homemade tarter sauce all for $19.95 plus Tax! The food was delicious and very tasty. The fish and shrimp texture was cooked to perfection with flavor just bursting with every bite. Great Staff! Welcoming atmosphere and welcoming spirit! Great Locals! Large portions with affordable prices! This is a great Wisconsin bar and they definitely live up to it. Have all the Wisconsin favorites food wise! Food and Drink specials daily! If your looking for a new Fish Fry spot i definitely recommend this place.

As a group of 6 we entered the door from the ramp. There was an open table that would accommodate our group. There were no signs stating anything other than to order from the bar. Drinks were ordered at the bar & a waitress came to take our orders. After she left, a dark haired woman that we assumed to be in charge came and chastised us for not registering at the bar & waiting for a table. I explained my inability to stand & that there was no signage of their process. She didn’t care. She repeated everything again & continued to reprimand us.
The other waitresses were fine. They brought us our food. We ate & left.
We’ll never go back there again.
That dark haired woman was an insensitive bag that doesn’t care about customers that aren’t regulars that abide by her unwritten rules.

The food was good, and we received it in a timely manner. However, they don’t have any wait staff and you need to go to the extremely busy bar to order food. Because there is no wait staff, there is no one checking on you to see if you need refills or anything. Once you complete your meal, you need to yet again go to the bar for the check and pay.

Went for a quick bite late Saturday night 12/7/24. Food was good. Service decent. Bill was not even close to what it should have been. Argued with the bartender lady who said it was correct but still disagreed. Paid it and left confused. Went home and added it up. Was overcharged by $30. One wrap, one boneless wings, curds & fries and a side of ranch. 3 drinks total for my wife and I. With a 20% tip it was $93. Absolutely ridiculous. Our calculation was $49 without the tip. So in essence roughly $61. Not even close to what I paid $93 for. She had some chicken scratch hand written bill which made no sense. Tried to call when we got home but no answer after several tries.

You need to order food at the bar which is packed and you can’t get through to a bartender. They have wait staff for the tables, isn’t that the job of waitstaff not a bartender? Get your own drinks & order own food all at bar. Why tip waitstaff? Oh and run out of ALL fish on a Friday by 7pm. Highly recommend you skip this place.

Great food, great drinks. Bartender Leslie rocked! When we arrived, 3 of 10 tables were enjoying food and bar seats were 100% occupied. We found a table and sat our party of 9. Found a menu, ordered first round of drinks. Placed our food order. Ordered a 2nd round of drinks. Still no food. Fried food and chopped saled took 40 minutes. Wait staff was tremendously rude to our party of 6 adults and 3 kids. I asked about our food order, and was told we sat at a table before ordering food. Should be up in 10 minutes. I told the waitress, there’s no sign that says you can’t sit before you order. Be aware of the unposted rule: don’t sit at a table until you’ve ordered food at the bar. If you do, they will make you wait and serve everyone else first. Doesn’t matter if you spent $100 in drinks and ordered $150 in food. Doesn’t matter if you have elderly parents with you or a handicapped child and need to sit. Wait staff doesn’t care, you’ll be served slow. Saw them do it to another 3 top with 2 elderly parents with a cane while we were there. 40 something daughter kept waiting patiently for food, and also asked staff like I did.
Don’t go here if you’re not local – it ain’t worth it. Worst service, rudest waitresses I’ve experience in many years.
