The New and Enlarged Railhead Tavern is something you’ve got to check out. We’ve doubled in size, added a dance floor, a full band stage, Powerful Sound System & Pool Tables! Come join us for delicious food, amazing drinks and a family atmosphere! We have a lunch menu until 4 then a full Dinner menu. So many delicious choices with all of our beef options, Burgers, Tacos, NY Strips and Ribeye Steaks all being Heartbrand Wagyu Beef. Even the Chicken Fried Steaks & Fingers are the healthy & uber tender Wagyu. The fully stocked bar is also open all day. We offer Bar seating as well as a rear dining room which can also be reserved for parties, gatherings and office meetings. This is not your average bar & restaurant, this is The Railhead Tavern!

A little bare but then it’s a roadhouse poolhall feeling place and an old building. I loved the Wagyu burger and sliders, don’t recommend the boneless wings, but the regular wings are fresh and meaty. Lemon pepper is VERY lemon. Decent bar and great service!

Stopped here on a business trip and can’t wait to go back. The food was very good. I got the shrimp and wagyu kabobs and they were amazing. Highly recommend.

My food was pretty good although a tad salty but definitely not too bad. The house salad was really good. Great atmosphere a little loud. The staff was really nice ALL of them that we dealt with. That being said, under staffed and a long wait to get our orders in. All in all not a bad experience at all.

Group of 6 people, 3 couples. Restaurant was not busy. We weren’t acknowledged when we came in the door. First waitress didn’t know what drinks they even had. We ordered appetizers that arrived quickly. Had another waitress. Food arrived in decent time but was overcooked and not great. We asked for our tickets. After more than 30 minutes, another waitress comes over and tells us their system crashed yesterday so the computer is splitting the check into quarters. We said No. She said they’d try to figure out what to do. 4 waitresses on 1 pos system couldn’t figure out what to do. She calls the manager. The manager says they will try to fix it on their end. She comes back again and says it won’t let her do it. We again said, No. We gave her multiple options on how to void the transaction and ring up individual orders. They could not comprehend that they weren’t losing money apparently. We eventually asked if there was any manager on shift. Only a kitchen manager. He came out, heard the saga and immediately said, I’m giving y’all a comp’d meal. We tried multiple times to get the girls in front to understand they could indeed fix the problem they were having and still make their money but they were very unpleasant and unskilled overall from start to finish. Service, horrendous, food, mediocre, experience, will never go back

We had lunch here today and the staff were so welcoming and the food was great. I loved the atmosphere and overall the way they made us feel. We will definitely dine here again. I had the steak fingers and my friend had the grilled chicken salad

Best burgers we’ve had in years! Very friendly service, fun casual atmosphere and great value for upscale food. If you’re traveling through on I-20, as we were, it’s definitely worth your time to make a stop here.

Came to Railhead Tavern for karaoke tonight and got some amazing dinner too. The chicken fried chicken is perfect. Crispy breading, chicken cooked to perfection, and the gravy is peppery and flavorful. The jalapeño corn is also definitely delicious. The portions are huge as well. Also, DJ Lowell is an awesome DJ who is here on Friday nights for karaoke.

It was fine at first then got worse. The food was alright. We got a sample platter and two orders of wings. The sliders were the best part. The service is slow, waitress took our drink order and no refills. Ordered another beer that never came. Service is bad. For $113 Will not be back again.

If you’re looking for great food, a fun atmosphere, and a stocked bar you found it at Railhead Tavern. I highly recommend the appetizer sampler it has a little something of everything. Loaded with huge shrimp , french fries, nachos, egg rolls, wagyu sliders , a little something of everything. On Wednesdays and Fridays they also have karaoke in the evening. Railhead was a great find while we were in town. #GoogleGal
