Ahhh PLAYA Playa… THANK YOU!!! For an AMAZING dinner… from the time I walked through the the door I was in AWE… love the decor, the lighting was perfect… shout out to chef Kray the food were flavorful and oh so delicious definitely put me in a food coma and it was a pleasure meeting you… our drinks were delicious DJ was playing great musics, our waitress was super friendly, informative,the vibe was unmatched by far my favorite #1 spot in RI. I strongly recommend saving your money and celebrating elsewhere — perhaps on Federal Hill or downtown, where hospitality and professionalism are actually valued.
We made a reservation for 15 people a full month in advance to celebrate a birthday. At no point during our prior conversations — which included discussions about bottle service pricing and decoration arrangements — were we informed that the reservation would be limited to 90 minutes. Learning this the day of the event was both unprofessional and unacceptable.
Upon arrival, we were rushed to place orders and seated at a table that comfortably fit only 8–10 guests. When we requested the adjacent empty table to properly accommodate our party, we were simply given extra chairs instead. Although we were initially offered tequila shots and assurances of flexibility with timing, that courtesy was nowhere to be found once we arrived.
Our bill totaled over $800 for food and drinks — which may be reasonable for a group of that size — but the quality of the food did not justify the cost. Beyond that, the overall service lacked warmth and basic hospitality. The atmosphere felt transactional and rushed, as though we were being pressured to order rather than welcomed as guests celebrating a special occasion.
Unfortunately, this experience fell far below expectations. We will not be returning.

Good vibes and music, but the food and drinks are average. I ordered the lamb chops and they were not the same as shown in Tiktok/IG food reviewer videos or picture reviews from months ago. Mine were undercooked, and didn’t have a lot of sauce on them. Also had a reserved table and being on a time limit and rushed out wasn’t cool.

From the moment we sat down, she was warm, professional, and genuinely attentive without ever being overbearing. She anticipated what we needed before we even had to ask — whether it was refilling drinks, checking in on timing, or making great menu recommendations.
Amaya brought so much positive energy to the table — she made us feel like guests, not just customers. You can tell she takes pride in her work and truly enjoys making people feel welcome. The food and atmosphere were great, but her service took the whole experience to another level.

All of our food came out at different times. With enough time for each person to finish their food.
Ex: first person got their food at 3:30, i didn’t get mine until 4:34.

I was quite disappointed with the food. The only thing that I can honestly say was phenomenal was the honey Sriracha chicken wings. The disappointment is they only give you five whole wings that they cut up into half a pieces and they charged $17 if you want blue cheese it’s an extra $2.50. I did order the fried lobster with fried shrimp and the macaroni and cheese with a side of spinach. The lobster was overcooked and had absolutely no flavor. The macaroni and cheese taste like Velveeta shells and cheese, which lets me know that they use processed cheese and I don’t know what the heck they did with the spinach because the spinach was extremely salty. I had them to remove it from my bill because I could not stomach the food. My friends had the surf and turf sliders. They said those was delicious however for four sliders they charge $28. They also had chopped cheese egg rolls that was $16. They charge $5. for one bottle of Poland spring water. They charge $18 for a drink. I asked for Grey goose or Belvedere and they only had Tito’s. They carry the cheapest liquor. But charges top shelf price. What I found to be appalled is the fact that they charge 20% gratuity. I’m all about tipping but let me make it clear. I will tip what I feel as though they deserve. Nonetheless, they served our food with plastic utensils and a little bag so it was definitely not human size but a kid size plastic we had to ask the waitress several times for silverware. Will I ever go there again absolutely not even for the chicken wings it was overpriced. However, I can’t say the atmosphere was lovely. Their prices are way too high and the quality is way too long.

She made sure everything was perfect throughout our meal. You can tell they really care about the guest experience. Highly recommend and will definitely be coming back!

Five stars around the board! I’ll start with great atmosphere very welcoming. The service was amazing. It was great having a server who went above and beyond during our visit. Our server Amaya, was informative when it came to the menu. Her suggestions were great and this is now our new go to spot. Thank you so much for having us. And I will be telling my family and friends about trying out this hidden gem.
