This place is a gem. I used to look forward to getting their breakfast Sammie at the farmers market every Saturday, and was stoked when they opened up this permanent spot. They have expanded their menu and everything they make is fantastic. I highly recommend the OG Farmers Market Sammie and their biscuits and gravy, and their BBQ jackfruit is a must try

Tandem Bakery is truly a special place. As someone who is both vegan and gluten-free, it’s incredibly rare to walk into a bakery and be able to eat everything—and here, I can. That alone already makes it a standout.
The donuts are phenomenal, especially the cinnamon (absolute perfection). You can tell how much care goes into both flavor and texture—nothing feels like a compromise for being allergen-friendly.
I also love their holiday specials. They consistently find ways to make seasonal treats feel festive and indulgent while still being fully vegan and gluten-free. It genuinely makes me feel seen and included rather than “accommodated.”
If you have dietary restrictions and miss the joy of walking into a bakery and choosing freely, this place is magic.

Wow! I would normally have a latte with whole milk, and avoid everything vegan, but goodness, everything here was absolutely delicious. Cravens coffee with oat milk…creamy and strong. Breakfast sandwich with tofu eggs, couldn’t tell it wasn’t real eggs. The French toast was rated “the best ever”.

Staff was VERY friendly, good atmosphere, great tea. The breakfast sammie was delightful. The only downside was the biscuits and gravy. It had a strong flavor..it seemed like thai basil..which is fine and now I see a lot of people enjoy it, but it might be good to know that before paying $15 for it. My kiddo is newly gluten free/dairy free and was disappointed to say the least.

Lovely bright open cafe with natural light. We enjoyed the granola and biscuits & gravy. The granola was warm and delicious, with toasted pecans that were extra yummy. The biscuits were smothered with a rich and tasty gravy. I love a generous amount of gravy, and this helping was as generous as I could have hoped. The iced latte was smooth, delicious, and rich in flavor.

OMG, I went for the first time after they made a politically oriented post that I admired. I wanted to support the business. Now I have a new addiction! The handpies are THE BOMB! These guys can bake!! I had the potato & cabbage variety. Chocolate glazed donut was also very good. I’m glad Ifound them!

I’m not sure I would have known that my biscuits and gravy were vegetarian, if I didn’t know before hand. Best veggie gravy I’ve ever had. The flavor and spices had a little kick to it, which I loved. The texture was even tricking me, I kept looking back at my plate like they had snuck in some pork sausage. Lol Nope, everything here is veggitarian and Gluten-free and GOOD!!! Sitting area is warm, relaxed and very inviting. They even have some board games in a cabinet so they won’t be chasing you and your friends out. Sit back and enjoy your tea, coffee and friends. I even think my non veggie friends would like the food and drinks here.
