I had so much fun! It’s so exciting to get your sushi off of the rotating sushi bar. They come 2 pieces on a plate. A great way to try from tons of exciting options! The tablet is easy to order from and they have great additional options if you do not wish to have sushi.

I was seated right by the door while it was freezing outside, even though there were empty seats on the other side of the restaurant.
I thought it was cool to finally have another sushi conveyor belt spot in CT, especially after the one in West Hartford closed.
The selection on the belt is very light. You’re not going to see the variety or volume you’d get at a place like Kura.
The ramen was very mild in flavor and I expected the egg to be jammy. When I asked the waiter if they had shichimi, he looked confused and pointed to a sriracha bottle . The food is also pricey. The ramen and rolls were standard.

We had a wonderful experience at this conveyor belt sushi restaurant. The kids really enjoyed watching and choosing the sushi. The restaurant has a great atmosphere, the seafood is very fresh, and the desserts were delicious. We would definitely come back.

Came here several times with family and every time it has been a great experience. Service is fast and friendly and place usually is not super cramp. Busy but comfortable.
We love the mushroom soup, endamame, and two sushi where one is beef on top and shrimp tempera in the roll and another is crab on top and shrimp inside. Also really enjoy the skewer with asparagus and pork. Next time we will definitely try the deserts which look to be delicious.

Maybe not ‘the best’ Sushi place in the New Haven area – but definitely the cutest!! We loved the atmosphere, the welcoming and friendly attitude of the waiters, the conveyer belt and the kids staring the food arriving on trains, and some of the dishes, great yakitori, tempura, sushi & rolls where great!!

We recently visited Chidori and really enjoyed the conveyor belt sushi experience. Everything was fresh, and the belt was consistently stocked with a great variety of options. The notecards describing each roll were helpful, and ordering from the iPad was smooth. Food from the kitchen took a few minutes, but arrived hot and well-prepared. The color-coded plate system made it easy to track spending, and the chute system helped keep the table clear. Staff were friendly and explained the process when we arrived, which we appreciated. The atmosphere was fun and the décor added to the experience. We’d be happy to return

My wife and I have been looking for an authentic experience like we had in different parts of Japan. Almost every Japanese restaurant had seared salmon nigiri but I haven’t found it here. Well we found it at this restaurant! My wife is so thrilled. And we will be back!

So much fun this revolving sushi andJapanese restaurant. You have to see this motorized rail system which runs length of dining room, where sushi choices are paraded around on a track and you help yourself to what looks great! Or order from a very complete menu with classic teriyaki, tempura, ramen, and udon. We loved everything except grilled squid which arrived barely warm. Obviously not right off the grill which was a disappointment. Service staff was very attentive, explained how things worked and were quick to bring anything not on the tramway (drinks, soup, salads). High recommend this fun spot! GREAT FOR KIDS!!

Absolutely loved this new revolving sushi spot! The modern, anime-inspired decor with bold lanterns and creative designs gives the place such a vibrant and authentic vibe. The technology here is next-level—conveyor belts delivering a parade of fresh sushi, adorable little trains bringing special orders, an automatic plate counting system, and a tablet that lets you order and track your bill seamlessly.
But what really makes this place shine is the sushi itself—plenty of fresh, creative, and delicious options gliding by on the belt, alongside the ones you can order for even more variety. Everything was so flavorful and beautifully presented. It’s a perfect combination of fun, efficiency, and high-quality food. Definitely a spot we’ll be returning to!

The atmosphere is great, the sushi itself is pretty good. I do enjoy the use of the little robot on the top railings for a la carte dishes and entrees. The toys are standard at revolving sushi, but I’m just glad Connecticut and New Haven are getting a slice of that experience that you may have at Sushiro or Kura in Japan (or NY!). With a little charm of its own.
Decent amount of selections sushi and otherwise. The stir fried shrimp udon noodles were pretty good, spicy miso ramen is missing a little kick, not sure what it is. Rice cake is interesting enough to try once, but definitely focus on the sushi! Staff were nice and accommodating. Wish I could give 4.5 instead of 4.
