Such a cute place! The Metro was the best veggie bagel sandwich I have ever had for sure. I got it with a jalapeño cheddar bagel and you could tell it was fresh by how soft the dough was
I wish they had wifi for being a coffee shop, but understand due to their location being near the bus pick up.
I will for sure be back to try the sweet treats I saw!

I think it depends on what you’re expecting. If you’re here waiting for a bus, it’s a great place to grab a coffee. However, we came after the wharf to wharf race (6 mi.) and were hoping for a tasty and hearty brunch and were sorely disappointed. The bagels were tiny and undercooked. The toast was thin sliced toast out of a bag. The avocado toast had about 1/8 of an avocado on a single piece of bread. They don’t have any prices on the menu, but don’t like it when you ask how much things are. The outdoor seating is decently nice and there’s plenty of parking. Overall wouldn’t really recommend for brunch. I think there are better places around here.

Super friendly staff here! They offer daily fresh-baked scones and bakery items as well as homemade bagels, house-roasted coffee and more. A great place for a quick bite!

What a fantastic little hidden gem cafe. Great for a quick stop or to wait for a bus. The selection was wonderful, and the scones were delightful.
With homemade items and knowledgeable great service, it is a definite place to return to. Everything looked and smelled delicious.
I also appreciated how clean it is.

Cruise Coffee Café is a laid-back gem in Scotts Valley—perfect for grabbing a great cup of coffee, enjoying live music on the weekends, and browsing unique art from local vendors who set up on the patio. With plenty of parking and a cool, retro vibe that feels like an old bus terminal, it’s a fun and creative weekend hangout.

Had to wait a little. But I was in no rush. I got the mile high bagel sandwich, blueberry muffin, and latte. Everything was delicious. The sandwich looks small, but it was super filling. The bagel tasted like it was freshly made. It was soft and airy and nicely toasted. Very delicious! It’s definitely worth the wait. Love to support local cafes. This one is in a quiet part of town by the bus station, and there’s a library across the street. Not too much car traffic on a Monday morning.

Cool vibe, good coffee, yummy bakery items (the lemon cheesecake was delish). The staff are friendly and helpful. But if you’re looking for a typical American breakfast, this probably won’t satisfy. I had the breakfast burrito as a bowl (no tortilla). It didn’t seem fresh, the scrambled eggs were firm and dry, the bacon was diced versus crispy strips. The cheese was stuck to the paper tray it was served in. It was more like a microwaved tapa than actual fresh-from-the-grill breakfast. The savory toast was good, but it too was more like an appetizer. It was a simple slice of toast with prosciutto and arugula…not bad but underwhelming. I think as a bakery, this is a great choice. As a satiating breakfast spot, it missed the mark for me.

We’ve had the honor of having Cruise Coffee Cafe sponsor many different items at our women’s networking mixers—and everything has been amazing! We’ve also made many stops and held meetings at the café near the Scotts Valley Library. The space is so welcoming and cute—perfect for catching up or getting a little work done.
I’m super picky when it comes to chai, and their chai latte is so good! And don’t miss the butter croissant—honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. It’s dense, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. (I lived in France for 5 months, so I don’t say that lightly!)
On top of it all, Erin is an absolute pleasure to work with. Her heart for what she does and the way she serves the community really shines through—in her words and in every bite and sip she shares. I highly encourage you to visit the café and check out her catering options for your next party or event.

This is such a cool venue. It looks like an old bus station that was changed into a coffee shop. They had plenty of both indoor and outdoor seating and I love that they had a play section for young children. I feel bad for the ladies who were working there the day we went. They seemed extremely understaffed for how popular their shop was. I think because of how overwhelmed they were the service and food was not at the level that they would typically provide. The lady running the cash register was wonderful and kind. I did not like that they were using paper plates and cups for everything. I think they’re doing it because they didn’t have time to wash dishes.
