Food was so amazing… Like skirt stake were melting in our mouths…

Everything was so good and perfect I highly recommend this place!
Seviche! OMG was amazing! Highly highly recommended!
I found this gem while searching for Dominican food in the area, which isn’t easy to come by. There aren’t many Dominican spots around, so I was excited to try this place.
Upon entering, I immediately noticed how clean and modern the design is. I love the green accents throughout the restaurant. It feels very spacious and beautifully put together. A server approached me right away to seat me, and I noticed how prompt they are with greeting and seating guests.
I started with the chivo empanadas. The presentation was beautiful. They were plated nicely and looked very appetizing. They’re deep fried and came with salsa, which was alright. Overall, they were okay. Personally, I didn’t think they had much flavor, and I wouldn’t order them again. Even though the presentation was great, the taste just didn’t stand out to me.
For my main dish, I ordered the skirt steak with chimichurri, white rice, habichuelas, and maduros. The presentation was beautiful. Everything was plated nicely and looked fresh and well prepared. The steak was seasoned beautifully and very flavorful. I loved every bite. It was a nice big steak unlike the local restaurants that give you a thin piece of meat. This was thicker and longer. The chimichurri was especially impressive. It did not taste like it was made with cheap oil like some places use, which sometimes upsets my stomach. It tasted fresh, balanced, and higher quality than what I’ve had at other spots in the area. It complemented the steak perfectly without overpowering it.
The white rice was just okay. It was a little sticky and slightly starchy, and it didn’t taste very seasoned. Since the rice isn’t the star of the plate, that’s fine. The habichuelas were amazing, beautifully seasoned and very flavorful. The maduros were very good as well. They weren’t black or burned like some places make them. I don’t eat blackened or charred food, so I really appreciated that. The steak also didn’t have any black burn marks, which made it even better for me.
I also tried the pechuga de pollo a la plancha. The presentation was beautiful here as well. It was plated neatly and looked very inviting. It was good and well seasoned. The onions on top had good flavor, but they could have been cooked a little longer to soften them and take away some of that sharp, harsh bite. Aside from that, I enjoyed the dish.
The bathrooms were clean and thoughtfully stocked with paper towels by the door so I didn’t have to touch the handle when exiting. That attention to cleanliness stood out to me.
I also really like the prices. The food is priced very well, and because of that, I plan to come here often. If the prices were any higher, I probably wouldn’t visit as frequently. Overall, I think this is a great spot for flavorful Dominican food at a fair price.
The service was good, should come back and ask for refills on drinks, other then that amazing service. Atmosphere is modern feel and clean.
Will come back when we come to SE Florida.
Our best to the chef and owners.
