I went here on a Thursday evening and it wasn’t too busy. I sat in for a meal.
Small restaurant but the right size and plenty of seating for its size.
Friendly staff, served quickly and the food was tasty.
The price was good and the size of the Naan was crazy, it was huge!

Been a fairly regular visitor over the years. First visit since it changed hands and got to say the food was superb, a busy Friday night with a good atmosphere.

First time back since taken over by new owners. Food was fantastic. Very tasty and big portions. I had tandorri chicken and changed the sauce to masala sauce that I love and my husband’s lamb rogan Josh had lots of lamb and was very tasty as well . The nan bread was huge and enjoyed the poppadoms and mixed starter . Staff are lovely as well . Great experience and will definitely be back . Highly recommend this place

I went here with my friends and I have to say it was amazing. We were seated as soon as we entered and were asked our drink order, not long after we were also asked our starters. We had Fish Pakora, Lamb Tikka and Vegetable Samosa. The food came in about 10-15 minutes and the food was very very delicious. For our mains, we had Tender Lamb Nentara, Chicken Madras, Garlic Naan and Basmati Boiled Rice. No complains about the mains as well. Got to say that we are very impressed and definitely will recommend to friends and a big recommendation to anyone looking to come in Alva

Just had what was probably one of the best (or maybe THE BEST!) takeway from Alva Tandoori. So different from the usual run of the mill offerings in the area. You can actually smell and taste all the individual spices!!
Service quick and great value. Well worth the extra few miles drive.
Haven’t tried the restaurant yet but based on standard of the takeway menu I hope to in the very near future.

Went here for a meal with my friends all big curry lovers we all had a pint of Cobra which was a great pint we all ordered different dishes and each tried each others curry/food I have to say the bar man waiter the chef etc were loveley guys offered great service and the food oh my god so tasty we all agreed none of us had an Indian meal this good in years every dish was full of flavour from the mild dish medium and hot curries the nam breads were massive but 10/10 . Over all all four of us would score this restaurant 5/5 we will return when we are in the area next August. A message to the staff you are doing a fantastic job and I’d like to thank you for looking after us you should be proud of yourself.
