We used to get tacos/tamales from here before they opened the sit down area. We came in today for dinner and it was great. The carnitas are delicious!! We will come back and check out the bar area to see what their drinks are like.

I’ve been to El Rolas many times and there has been a steady decline. I ordered 2 lazy burritos (apparently very lazy), meant to come with rice, beans, cheese, AND meat, but it seemed to be a rice only burrito. There was little to no amount of meat and beans, and NO cheese at all. This business was once an amazing place, selling my all time favorite burritos, but now they’re the complete opposite. After expanding the business the quality of the food went downhill. Nice customer service and all, but doesn’t make up for the lack of food quality and money spent. I hope to see some changes around here. RIP to the once best burrito in town

I’m honestly pretty disappointed with my experience. They forgot to bring my drink completely, and I had to keep waiting and reminding them. Meanwhile, the lady working there was just walking around and taking forever to bring out the food. It didn’t seem busy enough to justify the delay. The service felt unorganized and inattentive. I usually try to be patient, but this visit was frustrating. I hope they improve their customer service and pay more attention to orders in the future.

The food was amazing and the presentation of the food was great. You can tell that they took their time putting it together great service very polite and friendly. Also, the decorations itself was very beautiful. The place looks well maintained all I gotta say is I really recommend this place. The food will knock you out your socks. PS the Tilapia fish tacos are to die for if you love your taste buds, I want to treat your family right come here lol

I was very happy with my visit to El Rolas! I ordered Molcajete. It was soooo much food. Chicken, steak, pork and shrimp.could feed 2 or 3 easily. Service was fast and helpful. Restaurant was bright, colorful and clean. I highly recommend you give them a try!!

Finally tried this place by eating in instead of to go. The food was barely ok and worth the price. Service was excellent. My wife enjoyed her menudo but the bistec and naples I had were flavorless and the meat had a texture like it had been stewed for way too long. Probably would not go back with the many other Mexican options in Sanford.
