We ordered the BBQ special and the food was absolutely delicious—flavorful, well-prepared, and clearly made with care. What really sets this place apart, though, is the menu itself. It’s refreshingly different from most restaurants around here, offering creative fusion options that make you want to come back and try more.
As good as the food was, the customer service was even better. The staff was friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, which made the entire experience even more enjoyable. You can tell they care about both the food and the people they’re serving.

Hangry Hobo in East Dubuque keeps getting better every time I go. The gyro was outstanding, with perfectly cooked meat and a sauce that really makes it stand out. The deep fried taco is a must-try and easily one of the most unique bites around here. Nick and Carrie have built something special — great atmosphere, creative menu, and a place that feels welcoming the second you walk in. You can tell they care about the food and the people who come through the door. Always happy to come back and support a spot that’s doing things right.

This restaurant has the classic small town diner/bar feel. I had the smash burger with waffle fries and they were delicious, the taste of the food reminds you of a simpler time. When walking in even though they advertise ordering at the bar an employee still came over to the table and took our orders so kindly. Totally would recommend!

I’ve came here twice now to the new pub restaurant and I will say staff and the place itself is great some of the best friendly service I’ve gotten 5 stars on that, however the food which they have a decent size selection but it is very pricey for what it’s worth I had the smash burger and fries from the hobo truck on my first experience and it was really dry average burger. But I’ve also now had there buffalo parm wings which were really good and big sized and that was my first visit to the restaurant but for the wings and a soda an tip was like $20 or more they charge $4 for a soda that’s kinda outrageous if you ask me. I went again with my gf and she got the patty melt with fries and I got the Nashville sandwich and fries was probably the best thing I’ve had so far bottom line the place is great very nice people and alright food but for the price I’m just not sure it’s worth it if they can try to run more specials or lower the price a bit I would definitely frequent here more often. Keep up the great service hangry crew!

First time going and won’t be the last! Food was delicious! I got the special lunch burger loaded with about everything you can think of and more. Table got flatbreads and wings. Everything was delicious and the pricing was great for the amount you get. This is definitely our new lunch spot

321 Bar is an instant favorite with $1 Busch lights and $1 wings on Sundays—both absolutely fantastic! The sampler platter is also a hit. Whether you’re stopping by for coffee, beer, or to catch a football game, this place has it all. A great spot to relax.

This was our second time eating here. We enjoyed our first time so much that we had to come back!!! First time we had the smash burgers and I’m not too fond of hamburgers but they were delicious!!! This time we had a Philly cheese sandwich and it was phenomenal!!! The owner and employees are amazing people!!!

What a great little gem right on the corner of Sinsinawa and Montgomery. Would be great to see more businesses like this in downtown East Dubuque. Great food, friendly and enthusiastic staff, and a cute place to grab food, appetizers, and drinks.

I always have a great time at 231 bar!! The karaoke Thursday nights are fun with brenda! They have good drinks and they get different drinks to try every once in awhile. The food was delicious I had the breakfast burger and the mac & cheese bites I was so happy with my choices! The staff is really nice as well! Highly recommend this place!!
