I have loved this spot for years! My favorites are the katsu curry-don, chicken katsu-don, and curry ramen. The service is always great, and the owner/cook is so kind. there’s something for everyone here!

I Came for my friend’s birthday with a party of 6, it is a small little place with a couple of tables, but feels good. There was not a wait when we got there but by the end the place was full! I ordered the curry, which was alright. I felt like there was not enough actual chicken. Flavor wise it was fine, wish it was spicier tho.
Menu said it came with a croquette but it wasn’t served (which whatver I had forgotten about it anyway but would’ve loved to try it).
I also had an appetizer which was also alright, nothing too exciting.
Personally don’t think I would come back for the ramen, my friend ordered the fried oysters and said it was really good, so maybe I will come back and try something else. But overall the ramen was okay. Service is great here, served was really nice and fast.
Overall Hans katsuya is not my favorite, but is not a place to hate either. I’m glad I got to try it , and might come back to try another dish.

First time here small nice and clean. Service was great and friendly. Gyoza were fried to perfection not under not over they were on point and the sauce that came with the was flavorful. Tried the Curry Ramen great pick was full of flavor but not over powering the other ingredients, you tasted the chicken, noddles, vegetables etc..My daughter had the Korean fried chicken sweet chill. Chicken was cooked just right, the flavor again was on point. The sauce was the amount enough to cover the chicken but not drown in it and overpower it. Both dishes came to us nice and hot temperature wise. Definitely will be back to try other options.

The food was delicious! We had the shrimp tempura and the katsu chicken and pork plates. Everything was so good! The soup, the salad, the dressing they provide, the steamed rice. Loved it! Will definitely come back.

We came here for dinner, I loved the inside, but that’s about where it ends when it comes to things I liked.
Staff was tentative but food wasn’t very good.
I ordered curry ramen and my friend order spicy ramen.
Curry ramen was so watered down that there was no flavor. Katsuya was pretty good and crunchy

I got the curry ramen and my husband got the ebi-don. Both were delicious and the prices were very reasonable. We also got the fried chicken (karaage) appetizer and they were amazing. The customer service was great as well. Overall we paid around $45 with tip for 2 people plus appetizer and drinks. Great place, totally recommend!

I would give Han’s Katsuya ten stars if Google would let me. In town on business, I wanted a Japanese dinner, so after seeing Han’s on Google and reading their great reviews, I decided to eat there. I left full and 100% satisfied with everything. The decor is lovely and the restaurant is spotless. Everything is clean and in order. The quality of the food is superb and the service couldn’t be better. Even my beer was served at the perfect temperature, in a frosted glass. The food was prepared to perfection. The next time I am in town, I will eat here every night. I wish they would open a location in San Antonio!
