We had dakshina’s kitchen catered for my friend’s baby shower. They also supplied fresh dosas which was a highlight of the event. All the food was very tasty. The spice levels were also adjusted for the guests. The service was excellent as well, very good communication. We will definitely get food from here again and also for party catering! Best value for Indian party food.

I travelled to Seattle for couple days. I tried many indian restaurants but came back to this multiple times. Staff was very sweet. Food was really good. They always gave samples for sweet to try which was amazing aswell.
I didnt find their food drooling in oil like how i found it in other restaurants. And the food felt fresh. We also used their 1+ 1 for biryanis couple times. Also they add jalapeños pretty much in everything , it wasnt a pblm for me but you can still tell them to add less/ or not. They customize for you aswell.
We went to Mt Reiner and enjoyed our food with the views. I def recommend this restaurant.

I’m already looking forward to ordering from Dakshina’s again. Amazing selection, generous portions and delicious, delicious food. I got the 555 biryani. I ordered it Spicy, 3/4 level, which honestly was a mistake, but I’m truly pleased that their spicy food is actually spicy. Next time I’ll go with the medium. Fortunately I also ordered the deliciously sweet coconut dessert drink to balance out the heat.

I ordered food for a small party of 9 people (5 adults and 4 kids) based on a friend’s recommendation, and I’m so glad I did. From the start, they were excellent with communication and patiently guided me on how much food would be sufficient for the group.
I was a bit skeptical and ended up ordering one particular dish in a larger quantity, even though they repeatedly advised that it might be too much. Turns out, they were absolutely right — that dish was barely touched because there was already plenty of food. Lesson learned: always trust the experts

My experience ordering from House of Chettinad was overall decent, but with a few areas that could be improved upon. Firstly, it’s worth noting that this is a cloud/ghost kitchen, so there’s no seating available and it’s strictly takeout and delivery. It would have been helpful if this information was made clearer on the website or elsewhere.
Moving on to the food, we ordered the Chicken dum biryani and Chicken 65. While the biryani rice was flavorful and reminiscent of authentic biryani, the chicken in both dishes was disappointingly dry. It lacked the tenderness and freshness that would have elevated the meal. Additionally, despite our request for the chicken 65 to come with gravy, it arrived dry, ignoring our comments in the order.

This new spot just opened, and I believe it’s part of a chain of takeout-only restaurants. Honestly, I didn’t have high expectations, but I ordered the Chicken 65 Biryani, and it was incredible! It’s the first Indian restaurant in Seattle where I found the flavors truly authentic. It’s not exactly cheap, but the biryani is amazing. A quick tip: order ahead and pick it up there. I’ll definitely be returning!

I’ve ordered from this place several more times, but the quality and taste of the food have been inconsistent, which is why I’ve removed a star. Not sure what’s going on lately.
