Familiar Americanized dishes plus an adventurous Chinese-language menu in a strip-mall setting.

The Hunan chicken and fried rice is always really good, hot and fresh. It’s a great portion for only about $8 for lunch. This has been my go-to lunch place. Unfortunately they are closing down on March 21, 2020. So sad to see them go.

UPDATE: They are no longer in business…so sad
One of my favorite Chinese restaurants in the area. I usually get the “young chow fried rice”, it’s a more healthy and flavorful option to regular fried rice, if you’re looking to reduce sodium intake. Slightly pricey but worth it. Good food, good service.

If you’re looking for a nice Chinese restaurant in the Greenbelt area, this is the one. My wife and I just moved here, and we like to have a “regular” Chinese restaurant. After looking at the reviews, we chose this one . . . and there is no need to look further.
The decor is nice and clean with a nice sit down atmosphere. The waiters are very friendly and helpful. They actually brought out tea as we were being seated. The waiter also boxed everything for us. If you’re looking for super fast service, this is probably not the place, but we enjoy sitting down leisurely so it was perfect.
And the food? Wonderful. The fried rice is some of the best we’ve had and the dishes labeled spicy are actually spicy. Also the portion size for the price is amazingly large, especially for DC area. Definitely check this one out!

We ended up coming here after our first choice was closed for renovation…and boy and I glad we did. A lovely little place with a great climate and even better service. The setup was elegant, the food was authentic and delicious, and the tea was a good addition. We unfortunately live 3 hours away but if we’re ever in the area again we would definitely come back. The best Chinese food I’ve ever had.

Nice people but the food wasn’t good. There were burnt rice clumps throughout the fried rice and it tasted burnt. Egg roll was rubbery, tasted like paper product and wasn’t cooked fully. The sesame chicken tasted good. May come back only for the sesame chicken and white (unburnt) rice.

The food here is excellent, and I eat here fairly often. There are quite a few Chinese restaurants around College Park, but this is the only one I know of where Chinese people will actually eat.
The more authentic food is in a Chinese-only menu, which is pretty standard, but even the more Americanized food (on the bilingual menu) is quite good. I particularly recommend the Beijing duck and the eggplant.
As for the service; the wait staff is quite polite and speedy. They typically don’t make a lot of conversation, but it’s more because of the language barrier than rudeness.

Quiet and relaxed place. I went with a Cantonese speaker who ordered from the Chinese menu. There’s a soup with beef, scallions, and egg white in a clear broth that is very good. The sign wasn’t lit up so it was hard to find at night, but it is worth looking for!

Well on the advice of others here I thought I’d try this place out since it’s Labor Day Weekend and impossible to get to Beijing of Greenbelt, my usual haunt. Easy to order and since I couldn’t find a website for them online just ordered what I always order everywhere else so lucked out there.
The staff was less than enthusiastic when I announced I had take out. Like, Oh, okay. And the food, while it was chicken smelled like fish.
It was about the right price, they gave me a good portion but hate when the food I ordered smells and tastes of something else because they didn’t change the oil.

This restaurant is nearly over an hour away from where I live, but the food is amazing. The place was scheduled to close on 03/21/2020, but I’m sure they’ve closed by now due to the epidemic we’re in right now. I recently visited on 03/07/2020 and was disappointed, I ordered shrimp fried rice, shrimp & vegetable, and crab wontons. It was horrible I think be cause they were closing they have like old food or something because the shrimp and veggies smelled bad and when I went to heat up the shrimp fried rice the next day the rice was all mushy ugh just disgusting! Don’t get me started on the wontons … it was just a bunch of hard fried dough. I was surpriSed because every time I’ve came here in the past the food has been amazing. I spoke with a lady there and she told me they have another Resturant that’s in Olney, MD I’ll be checking them out soon !

Every dish is tasteful. Strongly recommend fried fish and spicy pork with shrimp (in the picture). You can also get recommendations from the staff – she is really good at picking the best of the day.
