Such an awesome find!! Taking the downward stairs past the artful neon graffiti and tribute to timeless music artists, you enter upon an 80’s/90’s arcade and pizza joint mash-up!! The brick, the nostalgic carpet, the owner’s love of signs….combined with amazing pizza = the place my dream pizza restaurant would be made of. We got Garlic Knots, custom ordered a hand tossed with Betty White sauce, house cheese blend and fresh mushrooms — awesome!!! Also got a bacon pizza and another red sauce pizza with mushrooms and olives.

I highly recommend this restaurant…. family friendly and also great for a grown up night out!!

Got the Detroit style – delicious! Try the Betty White sauce one time and you will be hooked! Garlic knots need garlic but the dough is really good. Antipasto not bad, not great.
Pizza is their jam and it shows. Will be back.

This is Affy, he loves Nardo’s so much he decided to stay after we left to eat more pizza and play arcade games.

Thankfully the Nardos Crew found him and held onto him until we could pick him up. This place is one of a kind!

Fun and unique basement, pizza, and old arcade game hangout. Highly recommend a visit. Truly one of a kind. Sadly, I do not recommend the garlic knots as both times I have gotten them they don’t look hand knotted, we’re over cooked, and not soft with garlic butter.

The food here is always delicious, but the service is always under par. The one lady tonight couldn’t care less, genuinely. The one poor girl said she was new and I felt so bad because the one training her was so out of touch. I smiled, said please, thank you- normal manners. You think any were reciprocated? Nope. The one couldn’t pull her lollipop out of her mouth to even reply to me. As someone from the south, manners and hospitality are super important to me. If this place had that it would be next level.

Everything about this place is amazing. The atmosphere, the people, the food, all top tier. I spent most of my life on the outskirts of Chicago and have always sworn Chicago had the best pizza and wing spots… little did I know the best one was in St. Joseph MI.

The food, staff and service are great! We get the deep dish pizza (it’s similar to Lou’s for you Chicago people). I think it’s the best in town. The Greek salad is also excellent. The atmosphere is a little wonky, but fun. We have never been there when it’s busy, but it looks like it could get a little crazy! I recommend this place to anyone that asks.

Great hangout spot for teens:
My friend and I love to come here and play games before our food’s ready. The pizza is always great and I can’t get over how amazing the inside looks. There’s so much neat art on the walls and the lighting/architecture makes for a really cozy environment. The prices are fair and they have a change machine for the games. The staff are also really sweet. As someone who’s usually really nervous to order food, I actually don’t feel uncomfortable ordering here. Looking forward to coming here more often in the future. Definitely recommend! 😀

Ordered 2 pizzas for pick up. One was hand tossed, olive oil, Mozzerella, garlic, spinach and broccoli (have gotten before as upstairs they have broccoli). Charges us for the broccoli, but got home and no broccoli. Barely any cheese and couldn’t taste the garlic. Worst pizza ever! My daughters was fine but was off the menu. Don’t bother building your own. $62 as my husband left a $10 tip. Not worth it

Here again on 2/11/22- Betty White was my new favorite tonight!!! Games are still so much, service was excellent
We’ve had To-Go pizza 3x and enjoyed their fresh dine in experience with the arcade games & great staff with Jackie running the show. Their Gyro pizza the OG (first photo) is our favorite so far, but they are all really, really, good. The Pepperoni D (second pizza) is one of the top 5 best pepperoni pizzas I’ve ever had in my life the A2 (third pizza) with the dill sauce, artichokes, spinach, red peppers was unique and delicious. The Meatwad (fourth photo) comes Detroit style and I wasn’t found of the meatballs, but I still ate it up. WhatupDoe (fifth pizza) Detroit style and slamming with the flavors of your favorite lasagna, mixed with crispy pepperoni and a hint of sweet hotness with Mike’s hot honey. Nardo’s Pizza mixes flavors that you just don’t think about but you are so glad you tried. Around $15-$20 a pie. Leftovers warmed up well.
