I love papa murphys. I need one closer to me. I have to drive 1 hour 10 minutes across Houston, longer in heavy traffic. Any time I need to do anything near there i go to Papa Murphys. Nothing better that baking a fresh made pizza at home. They have the best Canadian bacon.

About once or twice a month, while traveling home from PVAMU, I try my best to stop by this location specifically to pick up something to eat, and I am never dissatisfied. Customer service is paramount, almost as important at the presentation and taste of the food itself; and I happen to appreciate all of the above! I promise, if you ever want to try a great pizza, no a spectacular pizza, much tastier and fresher than your typically local, popular pizza joints, then this place is well worth the drive! Below is my trusty go-to-pizza that is a never fail – Chicken, Spinach, Bacon, Artichoke – hold the Artichoke and replace with either pepperoni or sausage, on regular crust…Thank me later!

Ida (I’m sure I spelled it wrong) has helped us the last three times we have visited. She is pleasant, informative and has our order ready quickly. I found out today that the tip that I have given the last couple of times does not go to her. I will not tip any longer know that the tip is not going in her pocket. I show my appreciation thru tipping to the individual that is taking care of my family and I. Not someone that isn’t even on site much less having interaction with me or my order.

If you have not tried Papa Murphy’s bake at home pizza you’re really missing out!! I know what you’re thinking: why go through all the hassle when you can have one ready to eat and delivered right at your door? I will tell you the taste and freshness straight out of your oven is something delivery pizza will never be able to replicate in my opinion. We love this location on Fry Rd and Morton Rd being close to home. Location is clean and the crew are friendly and courteous. My personal favorite is the thin crust pepperoni. If you want to save even more money you can always order a $5 fave pizza (1 ingredient) and add some of your at-home veggies before baking.

Not only is Papa Murphy’s a great Pizza Place but this location in particular is excellent.
Do not let the fact that you have to take the pizza home to bake it deter you. Not only is it fresh out of the oven, you can cook it anytime.

I love this Papa Murphy’s and will travel 20 minutes back and forth here to get my special take and bake pizza using my SNAP, even though I live right behind a Costco. I’m about to get a special vegan pizza for my activist friends because they have a dairy-free cheese option, and there is nothing like a custom pizza straight out of the oven. Their service is so excellent… they did stuff for me that I can’t even tell you about 😀 This is going to be a regular Tuesday thing because they have a good deal for Tuesdays on a 5-topping custom pizza.
The only thing I don’t like is they don’t have croutons for my chicken Caesar’s salad like the one in Palestine, TX. I always have to buy mine from another grocery store. If I have to make an extra trip, wouldn’t they lose the sales from the soda when they push me into the grocery store?

Pizzas are alright here. Best part about the restaurant is that the prices are reasonable. Cost about $11 per pie on Tuesday. The employees at the time of my visit were very nice, personable, and made great recommendations.
