This place has become my jam for Hawaiian food. And it’s awesome that it’s a short 10 minute drive from home.
Favorites so far include their house special mix plate and the mahi musubi. The house special mix plate comes with BBQ beef, chicken, and katsu with rice and mac salad. The meats are lean and the katsu is not heavy on the breading. Try the mahi musubi for an elevated taste, as you still get the goodness of the rice and seaweed but with a slightly crisp filet of mahi!
If you’re pressed for time, call ahead to place your order for pickup. If you also plan to order fried items like the katsu or fried mahi, don’t order the hour before they close as they might have cleaned out the fryer already.
There’s a few parking spots but since this place is really a grab and go, it’s not an issue finding parking.

I have a gluten allergy & they misheard my order, but the fixed it with a smile! They also clean the “ordering area” after each patron & tried to give me a refund for the amount of the dish I ordered! Their fried fish and shrimp plate looked amazing, but I just couldn’t eat it. It was kinda sad. This place was great & made fresh to order!!

This place is set up like an old school Wienerschnitzel. There is no indoor. You walk up and order at the window. The place is pretty run down. The menu and all the signs are faded from exposure to sunlight. None of the prices on the drink menu are even legible anymore. There are some outdoor seating. One of the table is missing it’s top.
As for the food, I ordered a Loco Moco. The gravy was too thick and too dark.. Also, ordered a smoothie, but it was more like a slushie (no dairy product), and it wasn’t blend very well.

Great little gem in a former Weinersnitchel building. The food is much more affordable than Hawaii Ono (2x Musubi Spam $3.50 vs $6 something), and Loco Moco is decent for its price. They do serve a lot of rice so be careful if you are watching your carb and sugar level

I ordered the House special mixed plate as it came with macaroni salad, white rice, bbq chicken on top, bbq beef on the bottom, and Katsu chicken too. Two cups of sauces: teriyaki sauce and katsu sauce. Delicious meal. Four tables outside in the front and parking in the back.

There is limited parking that can be found at the back of this lot. There are some tables at the front where you can sit and eat at. I ordered a Honey Green Milk Tea with boba which wasn’t too bad. The honey and tea taste were surprisingly strong in my drink and the boba was sweet and chewy, this was definitely worth the price.
I also ordered a Mini BBQ Chicken plate that was around $7, There was about 2 and a half pieces of chicken in my plate. The pieces were fairly thin and one small piece was mainly just fried chicken skin. The chicken was pretty flavorful, tender, and not burned or overly dry. This plate also comes with one scoop of rice and macaroni salad. Overall, for the price and the taste it was just alright. Would come back to lunch if I was reallly craving some Hawaiian BBQ.

Pretty unfriendly. Sign clearly on window says $2.00. for Hawaiian Matsu. Pointed at it said I will have the $2.00 thinking it was 1 piece and a side of macaroni. Charged $4.75 for the Matsu. When I questioned the total that was nearly ,$8. Rudely was told they changed price. The price was on top not the poster on side of counter. I have eaten here twice before and the lady was not friendly at all. Won’t be back.
