MY food itself wasnt bad but the food my friends got was terrible and looks like rubber. The chicken chow mein had no noodles in it at all and there was barley any chicken. The beef in the other dishes were slimey and looked awful

4/2/18 I ordered sesame chicken combination and crab rangoon. The food was very good and the two people I encountered were friendly. I gave this four stars because the eating area was pretty dirty. Just getting takeout would be a 5 stars.

This is by far, the blandest Chinese food I’ve ever had. I knew it wasn’t going to be good when I opened my takeout container and saw the chicken as pale as the vacationers who visit the OBX’s beach. I’m not sure if it’s the location or the lack of diversity, but this establishment is an insult to the other Chinese take out restaurants. The jasmine rice had more flavor than the entrees that I ordered. The lady who was behind the glass wall was friendly though.

You tell me what’s on the fork. They try to tell me it’s an onion. Come on. Will not visit ever again. Eat at ur own risk.

Ordered chow mein, and it did not come with any noodles. The rest of it was slimy and unappetizing. My friends all had a similar experience. The only thing that wasn’t awful was the sugar donuts.

Was a great place but the owners of dare center ran them out so they could raise the rent. Sad to see them go.

Ordered the roasted pork with garlic sauce and the pork was actually Char-Siu style roasted pork. And their garlic sauce was amazing If your in OBX and have a taste for Chinese style food, go here. They are very friendly and quick.

If you are looking for a great “hole in the wall” Chinese spot just like your hometown, this is it. The worn out photos on the wall and no working AC in the restaurant itself let me know it was going to be a good spot. Food was spectacular and tasted just like home. The general Tsos was on point as well as the crab Rangoon. Highly recommend if you want original tasting Chinese takeout while you are on vacation!

We are a family from Asia who needed one meal with Asian flavors during our annual OBX visit this week. This is our first time ordering Chinese food here and found this place among three restaurants on Google offering Chinese cuisine. While the Google reviews and ratings were comparable, we eventually decided to order here based on reviews by locals. The feedback was spot on. The food was quite good, flavorful and a good amount. We ordered four lunch specials consisting of beef broccoli, pork egg foo young, General Tso’s chicken and pork lo mein. Costing only $10.99 each, the entree came with fried rice and an eggroll. Although we’re used to Chinese food from urban centers, this place serve more than decent food. My favorite was the beef broccoli which was lighter (less soy sauce) but had a rich sauce, crisp vegetable and tender beef slices. The family enjoyed the lo mein as well, good flavor and color, good quality. The General Tso’s chicken still had a crispy texture and not overwhelmed by sweet sauce. The eggrolls were crunchy and well seasoned. Sure, this isn’t a high end place but for a beach resort a little farther away from the city, it gave us the flavors we needed and were happy with the amount and quality.

Dine in with my hubby. Food was hot and fresh! Everything tasted delicious. Staff was friendly and explained the menu to us. Orange chicken, sweet and sour chicken, chicken lo mein, and fried rice were all awesome!
