What a hidden gem! We can’t say enough good things about “The Woods” We are just disappointed we didn’t find this location a week prior. Unfortunately, we found it on our last day/evening before we drive back to WA State. Please if you get a chance. Stop in and having some amazing food, drinks and atmosphere! Connor one of the owners was amazing to talk with and serve us!

To be honest, I would give this place a 2.5 way to be expensive for the quality of food we actually got. Our waitress was nice, only reason why I gave a 3 out of 5. The only thing is she was making our drinks because the bartender apparently called in, drinks were not good at all, and didn’t even drink them but sure did pay for them. Sucks to pay for something that wasn’t even good enough to drink. Again, she was very nice, but definitely not a bartender. I wouldn’t recommend it. Nothing authentic about this place at all

I need to eat gluten free. The Woods is AWESOME. They have dedicated fryers and many gluten free options. The Baja Fish Tacos and Sweet Potato Fries hit the spot. The atmosphere is wonderful too. The staff is super friendly, inviting, and helpful. It was so good I returned the next day and had the PB&J Burger on a Gluten Free bun…so good! Highly recommend.

Our favorite place to eat when we visit Tahoe! Amazing service with amazing food! There’s bites for everyone. Gluten free options & great kids menu!! We were feeling spontaneous and got the PB&J burger, who would have thought it became our favorite! The tater kegs are also delicious! Great for friends and family

The establishment was billed as a restaurant and the menu showed better than average choices. We arrived and found it nothing but a sports bar. Our server was friendly And being that the place was empty, we were served quickly. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak And Sweet potato fries. When it came out the Steak was tough and chewy. The sandwich usually comes with swiss cheese, which is something I’m not fond of, so I asked for cheddar instead, which was granted. After a few bites, I called the server over and explained that I was not happy and he was completely accommodating and took it and had it removed from the bill. Then the manager came over with a slight attitude and tried to explain to me that all steaks cut are different, like nobody knows that, and also tried to blame the fact that I had cheddar cheese as opposed to Swiss that that made the sandwich no good. He was a little aggressive in an odd way and seemed to want to argue. when u own a “restaurant” it will happen that not everyone will be happy. the proper way to handle the situation is to take the food and remove it from the bill without arguing with the customer. All in all, I would not recommend it if you are expecting a nice restaurant with good food!

New place in town, shiny, new and trendy. They offer good quality meals until late and fancy cocktails. It can be on the expensive side.

The overall look of the place has been improved, plenty of tv screens and sometimes life music, which can be a bit too loud. They serve food until late on the second floor and the first floor becomes a club. They also have a terrace and nice clean toilets. Bouncers and servers are equally friendly.

Went down to try some food and some drinks with friends and family visiting town. As soon as we walked in all the employees were very friendly. Everything we ate was tasty. The tater kegs as an appetizer were delicious. The sliders were spot on and the burger hit the spot. We will be back to try more of the menu. Thanks for a memorable meal.

A large group reserved 2 tables on the 2nd floor for dinner. There Appleseed to be outdoor seating available on the 2nd floor, weather permitting. The food was fantastic, as was the service. Even with a large group on a floor separated from the other guests, we were well attended to. The staff put forth great effort to take a group photo for us, too. The first floor had more of a bar-like setting. The ambiance was a little ‘cold,’ like a sports bar, which I think is the idea, but I think it could use some homey touches to give more of a Tahoe feel. Overall our experience was very good.

My favorite sports bar in Tahoe. The sausage and pretzel appetizer was excellent and something different.

Very nice place. Nice outside eating for lunch. Only open a week and it was definitely good. Drinks were great, I can’t remember what I had since it was last Friday. The woods burger with Swiss was very good, had it medium rare. Would def recommend this place for a local or if you’re in town! Also there’s a bar downstairs!
