There is a reason this place has such great reviews. Everything we ordered was great. The wife says the best steak she has ever had, and we do try some good places. We also sous vide our steaks but for this cut we ate, never have we gotten it this melt in your mouth. The Mac and cheese was great, the martini was great, everything. Go ahead, take a friend or lover, and enjoy. Take two lovers even, just different nights.

My wife and I came here for our 20 year anniversary. This was the perfect place for use. I got the 12oz center cut ribeye and my wife got the salmon. Both dishes were delicious and priced well. Overall we both really liked this place and will definitely be coming back.

Our favorite steakhouse! The quality of their cuts is exceptional—tender and flavorful. The Truffle Mac n’ Cheese is rich and creamy with just the right amount of truffle. The sautéed spinach compliments the richness of the steak. And of course let’s not forget to mention the wine! We usually ask for the same bottle but the servers have been great at recommending something new to us.

I would like to share my experience from my recent visit to your steakhouse, as I believe feedback is important for maintaining the quality of service.
First, I want to commend the bartender for her exceptional service. She was engaging and made our evening enjoyable, which stood out during our visit. However, I encountered several issues that I feel need addressing.
During our time at the restaurant, the hostess informed us that we were being too loud while interacting with the bartender, even though the establishment had only a couple of other guests at the time. This interaction left us feeling unwelcome.
When our highly anticipated tomahawk ribeye ($180) arrived, it was cooked perfectly but served cold. The hostess assured me that they could reheat it without overcooking, so I consented. Unfortunately, the reheating process affected the steak’s quality significantly, and it tasted far from what I would expect for the price.
After we expressed our dissatisfaction, the same hostess inquired about our meal. When I mentioned it was not good, she walked away without addressing our concerns, which felt dismissive.
In conclusion, while I appreciate the effort some staff put forth, my experience fell short of the expectations that come with dining at your steakhouse. I would recommend that you consider revisiting service protocols and quality standards to ensure a more consistent experience for your patrons.

The best steakhouse ever. Staff was amazing, the owner is down to earth wonderful person, and everything from the food, drinks, to the cigars and lounge area was absolutely amazing. Will definitely be my go to spot for the best top quality dining experience.

My husband and I joined some friends for the woman’s birthday dinner. The service was okay, but my burger was extremely dry with absolutely no seasoning and just a tiny dot of cheese. I had to keep dipping it in ketchup and steak sauce to keep from choking it was very dry.
My husband loves steak but he also was disappointed. I could tell he was not happy because he didn’t eat it all. He said it was overcooked and tough. His plate was moving the whole table when he tried to cut it. Maybe they just had a bad night but I will NOT be returning here.

We had a very amazing dinner experience at The Kemah Steak Company last night to celebrate our anniversary. I had made reservations through the Open Table app on their website because I wanted to make sure we had a spot, in case they were busy for a Saturday night. I put that we were dining to celebrate an anniversary, which we found out gave them a heads up because they had put some nice rose petals on our table which was in a nice little quaint spot in the restaurant. Upon arriving and entering the establishment, we were greeted by the staff immediately and even though we were about 20 mins early, they said our table was ready and sat us. The ambiance there was excellent for our evening.Taylor was our waitress, and she was phenomenal. She was very personable, welcoming, knew her stuff about the menu and drinks, and just made our visit that much more delightful. I had taken the courtesy of studying the menu beforehand, and already had our food selections planned for dinner. Taylor had agreed that I had done great research, and confirmed all my choices were actually all very popular things ordered. She did suggest the Walking Fool wine stating that it paired well with steaks, and she was right on the money! We started out with sharing the big bowl of shrimp and 3-cheese grits, and got a bottle of that red wine. The shrimp were big and juicy and the grits had such a good flavor. The wine was very nice… not too dry and not too sweet, but just perfectly in between. For our main course, we ordered and shared the Allen Bros. 16oz. Prime Boneless ribeye steak with garlic magic butter and with the truffle mac and cheese… Laawwwddd have mercy!!! (bites knuckle…!!!) The steak had great marbling, was cooked perfectly medium, and cut effortlessly. So tender and tasty, and that garlic magic butter just kicked it up that much more! The truffle mac and cheese was just the perfect side paring! And for desert, we shared a nice-sized piece of the Limoncello cake with strawberry drizzle and whipped cream (which was on the house since it was our anniversary! ), and we also ordered some of the Bourbon ice cream to go with it… O.M.G.! The cake was very light and fluffy, with a great lemony flavor that mixed well with all that was on it… and the ice cream just took the desert over the top! Lena was at the bar, and she was very nice to speak with as well, while we had a chance to chat with her before leaving. Our experience here was fantastic, and we will definitely be back and tell friends about this spot! They are a BAHFL participant as well, and give 10% off the tab. If you’re ever in the mood for a nice, low-key dinner evening, check them out… this encounter definitely got 5⭐️s from us!
