Another gem we discovered! The food is amazing! It’s like home cooked meal but better! Their baklava is one of the best i have ever had. It has lots of pistachio filling and less pastry unlike the one’s I’ve had before where all i can taste is the flaky crust. Staff is very friendly! We would definitely go back if we’re in the area!

I’ve been to Lebanon twice, and I just didn’t expect to find such authentic and delicious Lebanese food in Edwardsville, IL. Everything was excellent and tasted like the real stuff.
Grape leaves, Kibbeh, Soujouk, Tabbouleh, Potatoes, Shawarma Plate – loved them all.
I can’t believe this spot isn’t swarming with people – easily some of the best food in Edwardsville.
Do not write this spot off, please just go.

We had been looking for a Mediterranean restaurant for a long time, so I was thrilled to find this one! It’s a charming little place with a warm, friendly staff and an incredible menu. The seasoning and presentation of the plates are excellent. We’ll definitely be coming back!

We ordered this food from doordash. I will say that overall the food was delicious. I am leaving 4 stars vs. 5 in order to provide the business owners with some minor operational and quality feedback as I am sure like many they are interested in the pursuit of perfection.

Operational Miss: The order was not received by the restaurant until the dasher arrived to pick it up. The dasher had to share the contents of the order. I appreciate that they very quickly made the order and that the dasher was willing to wait for them to do so

Minor Quality Issue: We ordered the extra pita for $1.00. This Pita seemed stale and extremely dry. Much different than the quality of pita for the sandwich. Given that it only cost a dollar this is not a major impact, but might serve as a signal a quality check in the future.

I will certainly be a repeat customer because everything else was fantastic!

I was delighted to discover a gem of a Mediterranean restaurant in our area. Based on a recommendation, we decided to visit, and I couldn’t be more pleased with our experience.

The restaurant, located in a typical strip mall, was a pleasant surprise. Upon entering, we were greeted by a spotless environment, soothing music, and enticing aromas.

As it was our first visit, we sought guidance from the owner, who recommended the combo. We followed his advice and were not disappointed.

To our delight, the restaurant features local sodas from Excel Bottling on tap. Supporting a local company is always a plus, and I genuinely prefer their sodas over the mainstream brands.

Our meal was served promptly and beautifully presented. The portions were generous, yet not overwhelming, a welcome departure from what is often encountered at Mediterranean establishments. We began with the Falafel and Kibbeh, both of which were perfectly prepared and delightfully moist. As someone who usually avoids falafel, I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it, as well as the hummus and Baba Ghanoush.

The meats were cooked to perfection, with the beef showcasing a delightful sumac seasoning and the chicken equally well-prepared.

The staff were a joy to converse with, and we engaged in a fascinating discussion about the intricacies of the cuisine.

For dessert, I opted for the strawberry tart, which, like the rest of our meal, was exceptional. The buttery base, creamy filling, and fresh strawberry topping were the perfect conclusion to our dining experience.

If you’re in the area and seeking high-quality food with friendly service that stands out from the usual options, I highly recommend giving this restaurant a try.

Hummus was great. Fries were delicious. Our gyros were very disappointing. They were not a traditional gyro — more of a wrapped grilled sandwich with gyro meat. The tomato and lettuce is grilled inside the pita wrap — making the tomato hot and the lettuce warm and slimy. It also does not come with Tatziki sauce — which is an extra charge. We’ve never had a gyro that didn’t include Tatziki, so that was strange. We went there craving gyros so we were disappointed. Many other patrons were enjoying different dishes. We were the only ones who ordered gyros.

I have so much to say about this place. I stumbled in with my toddler after a birthday party next door. Immediately it smelled like heaven when I walked in the door. The girl at the register recommended things for me to try, and we chatted until the food came out. And THE FOOD, y’all. It was flavorful, fresh, and the presentation was beautiful. The cook came out and entertained my toddler while I ate. I got my bill and thought they forgot to charge me for something. Affordable and unbelievably delicious. Not to mention the best service.

Incredible food! It’s rare to find something so delicious and unique. I’m so happy it’s here! I got the chicken Shawarma and it was so good I went back and got a falafel. Everything had really unique spices and you can tell they put a lot of care and attention into their food. It’s worth going out of your way to eat here. I hope to come back soon!
