Modern takes on Vietnamese soups, banh mi & salads in an inviting space with a full bar & patio.

Everything we ordered tasted authentic and flavorful. The egg rolls were great, but the rice paper was a bit thick, making the inside slightly soft and chewy.
There was a mix-up with our pork chop order, and we first got Korean short ribs. They were good and a little sweet. When the pork chop arrived, it was perfectly cooked, super tender, and flavorful.
The Bún Bò Huế had a strong lemongrass taste, which is different from the traditional style. The noodles were a bit overcooked and slightly mushy. It was just okay for me, but some people might really like that twist.

It was a busy Sunday evening when we visited. After adding ourselves to the virtual que we didn’t have to wait long to be seated at a window bar table. A QR code is used to access the menu. Unfortunately, our group of 4 (all on the same ticket), got food at all different times. The first plate came out before cocktails. After watching my 3 friends eat for quite a while I took our empty water pitcher to get filled and inquire about my banh mi. She said she’d check on it and it came out immediately ♀️ the banh mi could have used more pate but the pho broth was good to dip into. I especially enjoyed the fries and condiment with them. The passion fruit mojito was great too! Everyone enjoyed their food but the service was lacking.

Overall great place and open late. I got pho coba which had a great protein to carb ratio. The broth was very tasty and overall great pick. My wife got the beef pho which was equally good. We also got a mango tofu salad which was okay. The place got really busy after the event broke and parking is a bit hard on event days but otherwise fine. The place looked decent and they had a nice bar menu as well.

CÔBA Vietnamese restaurant in Seattle’s Queen Anne neighborhood offers a trendy vibe with ample seating, making it a convenient spot for groups heading to nearby events like concerts at Climate Pledge Arena. The menu features solid staples like pho and banh mi, with generous portions that satisfy without overwhelming, though some dishes like the salt and pepper tofu felt a bit underseasoned and bland. Service is friendly and efficient, but the lively sports-bar atmosphere can get noisy during peak hours, which might not suit a quiet dinner. While the modern twists on traditional flavors are enjoyable, it doesn’t quite match the depth of more authentic spots in South Seattle. Overall, it’s a reliable, affordable choice for casual Vietnamese fare, earning a middling three stars from me.

CÔBA is one of the best spots in Seattle for delicious, comforting Vietnamese food. The pho broth is rich and flavorful with just the right balance of spices, and the portions are generous with plenty of fresh herbs and lime on the side. The short rib pho is a standout with tender, fall-off-the-bone beef and incredible depth of flavor.
The fresh spring rolls are light and refreshing, and the peanut sauce is perfectly savory with a touch of sweetness. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it a great place for casual dining with friends or a cozy dinner.
Service was friendly and attentive, and everything came out hot and beautifully plated. Highly recommend CÔBA if you are craving authentic Vietnamese comfort food and a great selection of drinks to pair with your meal.

Decent Vietnamese spot near Seattle Center and makes for a good dinner spot before a show/concert/game. They have happy hour only on Monday through Thursday.
On my first visit, we tried the banh khot, bun bo hue (recommended by the server), and chicken vermicelli bowl.
Banh khot was delicious and definitely something I’d get again.
Bun bu hue hit all the right notes flavor wise and appreciated that they provide banana blossoms on the side. Just gave it more authenticity. It was missing pork trotter and pork blood though.
Service was good when it wasn’t busy. Once the restaurant filled up, servers weren’t as attentive but not a big deal since we weren’t in a rush.

I was very skeptical to try this place because I have to eat gluten free due to having celiac disease. I was blown away at how amazing the service/staff, atmosphere, and food was! I informed the waiter that I was gluten free and he instantly removed the soy sauce from the table and brought me their house made gluten free soy sauce. 98% of their menu is gluten free and everything fried in the frier is gluten free. There is also a ton of vegetarian options. We ended up coming here twice on our trip to Seattle because it is THAT good! It’s about a 5 minute walk from the Climate Pledge stadium and they are opened late so this is a must after a hockey game. Some people have complained about the price but personally I would give my first born child to them just to eat their food.

The pho broth is pretty great here, but the meat was not as tender as it could be and the vermicelli noodle dish was underwhelming and not very authentic.

my boyfriend and i love this place because they have great Viet food with lots of gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan options. portions are big (for example the banh mi also comes with fries and soup) and service is incredibly fast. everything is also super flavorful; i love their house sauce.
