These were some of the best enchiladas we’d had in a while. Their beef and gravy was delicious as well. We would have taken pictures, but we scarfed it down too quickly!! We’ll be back.

Delicious food ..good service. It was pretty busy, but was seated quickly. Chips are well salted and the salsa is tasty. Overall the food is better than average. In service was pretty good. Not overpriced for the quality of the food. Definitely well worth the try.

While in Corpus, it was about 8pm, and we wanted to snack on something. We found a nice restaurant / sports bar. We were surprised to see this many people eating at this hour. The food smelled great, but we just ordered a snack and drinks. Our servers were very friendly and enjoyable to talk to. Our snack was 2 tostadas with cevicii and avocado. It was really fresh tasting.
We returned the following day for breakfast. We were served coffee in authenick Mexican clay cups. The coffee came with two homemade cupcakes and different filling in each. Very tasty cupcakes! We ordered two bowls of Menudo with chopped onions, cellantro, chopped jalapenos, and a side order, a bean and cheese taco. The Menudo was a little on the salty side, but it had good flavor. A couple of days later, we came in for dinner. I had a fajitas plate. Very tender and savory. (Remember always cut fajitas across the grain of the meat) It makes the meat super tender to chew. My wife ordered chicken pablono. It was super delicious, and her Margarita was fantastic. Don’t forget the happy hour service. Our server Nicole was awesome!
I recommend and Enjoy

I’m surprised how good this place was, being so new. We went on a Sunday and it was packed! For as busy as it was, I don’t think that we had to wait very long for anything.

The mango chamoy margaritas were good. The salsa was a bit runny but had a good flavor and spicy. I got the beef fajita burrito with cheese and gravy; it was pretty good and ENORMOUS. I’m glad that it didn’t come with a side of beans and rice. I had to take half home.

I’d definitely go back! Especially nice to have a good Mexican restaurant so close to us, as El Potro is straight up awful.

They serve chips and salsa when you sit down. The salsa had a little bit of spice to it but good. We had the garlic shrimp – delicious. It comes with an option of homemade or store bought tortillas. Of course, we chose the homemade. They were good.

The carne asada here is so good… we tried nachos and street tacos, both were delicious! Everything was served hot and fresh. To go items were separate to keep nachos and crispy taco from getting soggy. New favorite spot, we will be back!

We keep trying to like this place because it’s so close to our home, but we just can’t seem to catch them at a good time. We realized after eating breakfast, lunch, and dinner with them in the past, we are never happy when we leave. It’s either the food or their slow service.

This review will be about this morning’s breakfast. It was served to us cold. My husband’s eggs were runny and undercooked. Which kind of gave us a giggle because how can it be undercooked AND cold. A new low for El Sol at this location. They offer nice muffins on the table that I was excited about, but when I grabbed one, they were stone cold as if just pulled from the refrigerator. I set mine back. My husband said it was good, but wished it was warmed.

My pancakes were cold, also as if they were pulled from the refrigerator and served.

After several visits to this place at different times of the day, today was our last day. We will not return.

I was welcomed by Alex, the best bartender in corpus who knew exactly what I wanted before I did. Service, atmosphere and experience I thank Alex for. 10 out of 10 food and 10 out of 10 drinks by Alex. Favorite new spot in corpus! Thank you Alex!

Absolutely delicious! The flavors were authentic, the portions were generous, and the service was outstanding. One of the best Mexican food spots I’ve been to—I’ll definitely be coming back! (It’s a family friendly restaurant)
