We visited Maho on a Sunday evening and can honestly say we only have positive things to say about the experience.
The restaurant offers Japanese cuisine with a wide selection of sushi, and the open kitchen with many chefs creates a lively and authentic atmosphere.
The space is cozy with a great vibe. The food was excellent, the drinks were very good, and our waiter was attentive throughout the evening without being intrusive.
Overall, it was a fantastic evening, and we would highly recommend this place.

Every dish were presented well but unfortunately rather average on taste especially with the price tag. The fish did not seem like it was of a great quality and the ramen was below average and not traditional. The cocktail was nice though.

Wow what a restaurant! The food is genuinely good!
The restaurant is located on the second floor of the San Agustin hub.
We liked it so much that the came back again, which we only do when we really really like the restaurant.
The service was nice but they are not great at changing things in the original dishes when needed.
The first time there, we ordered empanadas, GYU don, the veggie roll and the rainbow dragon roll. I think the most surprising and amazing dish was the GYU don bowl. The meet was very high quality and perfectly cooked.
The veggie roll was also very good and is an amazing option for vegetarians.
We ordered their iced teas which are really good and refreshing!
For the second time there we ordered the fried shrimps starter(I don’t remember the name) which my husband really liked, the GYU fried rice which was nice but not extra ordinary.
Their dessert are also cool.
I really recommend visiting if you want some good Japanese food in San Cristobal.

My food came out half an hour before my friend’s, who got her food 50 minutes after ordering. (Why not bring the dishes out together, anyway?) That’s a little long when the restaurant isn’t particularly busy. The sushi and ramen were delicious though. My only qualm with the food is that eight pieces of sushi that size isn’t enough. The ramen portion was also a little small, though better. A little stingy with the wasabi too.

Food took nearly 50 minutes longer than my friends food to arrive at the table. Obviously his food was cold by then. Generally nice food but no apologies for the waiting time whilst restaurant wasn’t even busy

The restaurant is gorgeous. Our food was delicious. I have an allergy to soy and they made my rainbow rolls amazing with no soy. Antonio was wonderful and made sure I knew what I could eat and what I couldn’t. We ate there 3 x out of 10 days in San Cristobal. We love the atmosphere inside plaza San Agustin.

Fantastic place to eat. Sushi was delish. Attentive staff. Antonio, our server, made sure everything was perfect. Decor and ambiance is amazing. Such a great sushi restaurant.
